Many will disagree with that fine but from outside looking in Maiden is still in need of QB from what I have heard and also heard Maiden is unusually small this season. Also there been a few new coaches added to the staff so that also play a role of HOW good they may or may not be.

4A West will be interesting. 3A West….well I think you know the 2 teams who I think are head and shoulders better than the rest…

QB will be just fine. We're just as big as usual. New coaches are 1 - former multiple state champion coach with a strong defensive background and 2 - former college coach
Maiden will be Maiden. I know you Iredell county boys may not be use to that...but allow us to reintroduce ourselves this season.
As far as your prediction, Maiden hasn't suffered a 3 win season since the mid 80s. Haven't had a losing season since 2014, I believe.

Newton and Bandys both have new QBs. Rising JRs. I would assume both teams will be heavy run. QBs have good arms but not the greatest at scrambling per JV games.
WI probably has the most returning. QB may be one of the best in the conference.
Most of the 4A vs 4A games will be competitive.

We are 2 months away from 1st official practice of season July 29th
Looking forward to when football starts. Western Foothills 4A/5A is a fun conference to keep up with. This year I believe we going to see some really good battles.
Im ready for it to start but not ready for it to be over.
Smyre is really putting in some off-season work. Training hard.
