I'm eager to see which way things turn, whether we start getting excited about the upcoming season or Pope getting more nervous about a team without Mom.

I can’t imagine the dude conducts countless zooms with coaches/players/etc over the last couple of days only to stay in.

But the later he waits he could move up boards ever so slightly by waiting.

Amari Allen just announced a return so Milan moved up one spot there for instance

I am pessimistic. You’d think he’d know what he wanted to do by now.
Why do you assume he doesn’t? As someone above said, the guy doesn’t have to announce anything. And I’m sure his agents are telling him to keep quiet and hold out as long as possible to maximize his leverage.

Common sense, folks.

Yep. But, it feels like every guy we go after turns into a waiting game that drags out as long as it possibly can. I had no doubt it would go right to the deadline. Then, we get to wait on his destination decision after he decides on the draft.

Technically, he doesn't have to announce anything. Remember Diallo, I think it was, we didn't hear until the next day that he had pulled out.
I mean yeah I guess he doesn’t have to post on instagram that he’s with drawling from the draft but he’s got to tell someone or have someone file paper work by 11:59 tonight

I also think there’s at least a decent chance he announces his college decision at the same time. Could be something like
-make a decision with family by like 7 pm
-contact coaches/announcement edit people like Tipton with decision letting them know his desire for it to be announced at like 10

"Drawling is a manner of speaking, often a drawl, where words are pronounced slowly with extended vowel sounds and less distinct separation between syllables. It is frequently associated with certain regional accents (like the American Southern accent) and can convey a laid-back or lazy tone."

Hopefully not much longer but I wouldn’t be surprised if draws out for at least a few more weeks. If he wants to take visits, I’m sure it will be a bit. He has all the incentive in the world to take his time, assuming he withdraws from the draft.

How much extra leverage do you think he’ll get between now and midnight?

He will leave the Draft but wait until mid June to select a school. It’s not like he has to be in a hurry
Yeah that’s what I’m tub mint. At least mid June. It’s going to suck waiting but maybe he surprises us and commits tonight. I won’t hold my breath.

Yeah and it feels like we never get them. I’m sure we have but it doesn’t feel like it. That and players that say we’re his dream school. Almost never get them either.

No idea, but I’m sure there’s some to be squeezed out. And the bigger point is that he doesn’t owe any of us or fans of any other team an announcement of any sort.

It's gone on long enough that we almost stopped referring to him as Milan and have learned to spell Momcilovic(well maybe not)..

Approximately 350 to 380 players make less than \(\$7\) million per year. With roughly 530 standard NBA contracts active at any given time, the median salary in the league is roughly \(\$5.7\) million. This means well over half the league falls below the \(\$7\) million threshold. [1, 2, 3]
