Yea I mean at some point you gotta win some games
Where other programs look at 8-4 as hot seat time, RU looks on that as extension time
Schiano needs to be held to those standards in 2027
The building phase should be complete and a winning season in 2026 means Schiano gets another year, but held to the type of standards top programs have for their HC .
A losing year and it's thanks for the good times, but too few to save your job .
2006 was great, but can't rest on the laurels of that year you're whole RU coaching career .
I truly appreciate how Greg took over two bad RU programs and made RU FB respectable under his guidance ,
but totally disappointed that he never could make RU a perennial top 25 program and Rutgers needs a HC that can do that
