Some questions were answered or at least insinuated. Key notes:

Setting the pitching up to win the regional, not just game 1 so I'm guessing Stone to start.
Milewski is cleared and caught 8 innings in the simulated game.

So:
Stallman or Bevis. OK either way. Maybe a matchup decision.
Wyers or Woodson. Haven't heard if Wyers is cleared. Wouldn't doubt Woodson starting - those nude pics of coach and all.
Teel. Does he smell the grass or no? Can't imagine it would be early in a game if he does.

The only real question is Bevis/Stallman and it may be a righty/lefty starter for Lipscomb. Stallman has been the better hitter most recently.

Teel will probably get a chance to play at some point in the postseason. He has a high ceiling but has been in a funk for a while. You just cannot start him right now.

If Millewski is cleared medically, he will play.

Woodson has hit well recently, you have to let him play.

I don’t see us starting Stone. It’s so critical to start 2-0 that you need to pitch your best two starters in the first two games. The question is the order.

I’d love to see McPherson Friday and save Tico for Saturday. That comes down to whether they feel good about McPherson on 5 days rest as he recovers from injury. I would hope they do.

Yep. 5 days and 80 pitches coming off the injury. May be rolling the dice too much to start him Friday. I could see Stone Friday given his previous success against them and then TV Saturday saving McP for Sunday.

Lipscomb starter is a LHP so I could see that be a reason Teel is still out of the lineup. Although he may be mothballed at this point, hard to tell. It’s a weird situation, I almost wonder if there’s some kind of mutual decision going on with him. He looked happy in the pictures where they’re watching the field announced. Front and center.

Having Milewski back is critical if we end up having to face Cincy. They've stolen 115 bases in 133 attempts this season. They're going to be extremely pesky with runners on base (steal attempts, bunts, hit and runs, etc). We definitely need Tico for a potential game 2 versus the Bearcats because he doesn't walk many guys and has a good pickoff move.

They didn’t start him on 4 days rest after just 44 pitches just a few days ago. I doubt they’re going to start him in 5 days rest after 80 pitches. I agree we will probably see Stone fri afternoon.

We haven't faced many good teams that are active on the bases. They could give us big problems as schizophrenic as we are in the field.
