On Saturday, Rebecca Bennett, who is running for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, stopped by our store. During our conversation, I told her how important it is that we overturn Citizens United, and she wholeheartedly agreed.
Citizens United has been one of the most damaging Supreme Court decisions in modern history. It opened the floodgates for unlimited corporate money in politics and has allowed billionaires and special interests to wield enormous influence over our elected officials. When politicians spend more time courting wealthy donors than listening to everyday Americans, democracy suffers.
Until we get money out of politics, it will remain incredibly difficult to build a government that truly works for the people instead of the highest bidders.

Yes, true. And thats where the "other states are following" comes into play.
Sometimes you have to do the right thing and hope others do it as well.
