Had a few minutes on this rainy morning so thought I'd analyze our new roster vs. old roster. I looked at the top six players at year end, which means replacing Stuelke and Feuerbach with Carnegie and Whiting. We lose 18.5 points, 11.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists. We gain 27.4 points, 11.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists. The new top six scored 8.9 points more per game. Rebounds and assists were basically even. Interesting that Whiting averaged 1.9 steals to Feuerbach's 1.1 steals per game.

Deal was our seventh player by year end and not included in these numbers because I truly believe Woliczko (19 points, 13 rebounds as a HS senior) will produced more scoring and rebounding than Deal last year. McKenna could easily be in the top six rotation by the BIG season start. I really like how athletic Faison is also, should help a lot on defense coming off the bench. Hayes should contribute more as a sophmore if she gets quicker and stronger.

I only see improvements, up and down the roster with a year of maturity. This team could go 8 - 9 deep.

Carnegie and Whiting both played major college ball so a pretty good direct comparison can be made. Not sure of the defensive levels in the B12 but anyway.

McKenna could be great, her stats were great in these all star and other post season games playing against top competition

We have plenty of guards to drive and dish and hit treys, a top center, and I think Hannah will be replaced ok by committe
