Let's talk about Tennessee, ECU, VCU

That’s the main thing that I’m upset about, VCU isn’t the same team they’ve been in the past but either way they are one of if not the toughest 4. Our regional was obviously based on region. Which is laughable considering VT is traveling coast to coast.
We run ruled them earlier this year if I remember correctly!

These teams don’t have the potent bats that we have had to face against GT, Pitt, even State and Wake when they’re hot.

I am more concerned about teams with particularly strong offenses getting into and taxing our bullpen early game after game. I have more confidence that our lineup can manufacture enough runs when it counts.

Let’s get to work.

Whats TinnerC's no. 2 pitcher like

Evan Blanco, pitched for UVA. They may throw him Friday vs ECU as they moved him up for SEC Tournament and didnt end up throwing Kuhns. Blanco has been good sans the first inning recently.

A lot of talk about not having enough arms but Tenn has maybe 6, and that includes Landon Mack who hasnt pitched in weeks. Tenn is the type of team that has to go 3-0 to win the regional and is probably better suited to win a Super, so should you lose to them on Saturday, its not the end of the world bc they will run out of arms. They have started to hit it better over the last month but they arent the offenses from 22-24.

Of course we’ll need to beat teams better than these to win it all, but baseball like life is largely about probabilities. Being 60% to win a regional or whatever is significant different than being 80%.
these boomers would rather whine about beat the best no excuses wolpfackers and the like.
They’re not wrong that Forbes will do precisely that bc it is basically good coaching.
However it does nothing to disprove the mathematical certainty of statistical probabilities. They are not capable of higher order complex thinking so that is why you will hear things like hold the pitcher, without being a huge statistical favorite.

Well seeing tickets were sold out to season ticket holders doubtful. Assume you’ll be there to support the team?
Oh yea, but considering I’ve seen us be “sold out” in a lot of sports only to see a lot of us post comments about “way to much red” or “way to much purple” guess that means if we sold out, our own fans sold their tickets to the highest bidder which typically is wearing another color than blue.
