Committee did a nice job with the seeding IMO. I don't even have qualms with USM. They had a really nice season.

Man, not only was USC not a host, they weren't even close. Headed to TAMU says they were the #21 seed.
Vanderbilt’s streak was 19 years and LSU’s streak was 13 years. Vandy had the longest active streak, but now Florida does, with this year being their 18th straight appearance in a regional.
Congrats on hosting in Oak’s first year. I didn’t understand all the strays that USM was catching from State fans on social media and message boards. We were never in competition with yall for a host spot. I always thought it was pretty obvious that KU and WVU were the weaker hosts. Was a little surprised at Oregon at 11.
Think 9 is about right. Southern Miss was ranked No. 8 prior to the tournament and had a Top 12 RPI. They’ve been one of the hottest teams in the country lately and are playing as well as anyone right now. Hard to argue they aren’t the best baseball team in the state at the moment.
Don't know anything about Lipscomb or Cincinnati, but Louisiana has a bunch of dirtbags. Scrappy team with a very good starter.
They've played Coastal 5 times over the last two weeks and beaten them 4 times.
Both our 2 and 3 seeds are legit threats.
We played Lipscomb in a weekend series this year and won 8-3, 9-4, and 26-0.
