Things change over time--yes, he's a first round pick if he enters the 2025 but Franklin selfishly used Allar's loyalty to convince him to return. After his play declined in a scheme he was suited for and the injury of course the dropped. Like Nussmeier and Klubnik. But you're inability to comprehend that is--well, it's predictable. Going into the draft Drew was likely going day 2--worst case 4th round--he went where he was expected to go as I stated.
This also isn't true. Drew wanted to come back to Penn State and it was his decision. Franklin didn't have to talk him into it at all. Drew absolutely loved being at Penn State because it fits his personality. Drew isn't a big city guy, and loved State College and Penn State.

He is right. I remember this was taught by Franklin . Thank God we have moved on. Any other program tells their QB to let ‘er rip.

We coach are guys to throw the deep ball short- James Franklin what kind of coaching is that? I knew he said that in an interview one time and now Tengwell confirms it with his tweet.

Trace had a hurt knee and ankle his senior year for half the season. We didn't even know if he would be able to play, let alone run the ball.
Same can be said for Levis but that doesn't seem to matter to most here
Honestly, Trace lived on 50/50 balls and I think we all agree with that--he had an all-time elite RB with Saquon. He wasn't a very good QB. Just being honest. A lot of people here, not saying you, just love dual threat QBs so they over value them.

This is untrue. Drew had decided to enter the draft and was talked out of it. It's why Beau freaked out and left instantly. Drew was 100% gone. He did love Penn State but he was ready to move on--Franklin played on his fatal flaw--his loyalty.

Not true. In his very own words.

“But for me, when I made that decision, I was pretty confident that I would come back. For me, it would have to be pretty drastic to change that opinion. And I was upfront and honest with Coach Franklin, and he saw it the same way.”

It's amazing the things people believe. Ask Beau what both Drew and James had told him just a week prior.
But do you think he's going to say "I wanted to leave but I stayed for James"--of course not. The statement above is the definition of what loyalty does. The word "pretty" being used twice tells you it's a lie.

Franklin's job is to give Allar the best advice for his career--he didn't because he wanted him to stay
Allar would have made more money had he entered the draft--the NIL money he got last year doesn't come close to making up what he lost.
I think he will be fine financially.

Now you know better than Drew about what Drew was thinking…wow.

You are off on this one. Drew and his family wanted him to return. He wanted chance to win title and they thought it would be best for him to come back. It didn’t work as they hoped but that was their decision.
After the last second meeting with James the day prior to Beau leaving.
Prior to that you're statement is wrong. Kevin and Dawn (especially Kevin) wanted him to leave.
The spin after the change isn't going to alter reality.

I live close to his family and have known them for a few years. Good family who love Penn state
Go ask them lol
And, yes, they are a good family that loves Penn State--they also weren't thrilled with a few things as you likely know assuming you do actually "know them"

No, I know what Drew had decided and when it changed. You don't have to believe me--ask those that have inside information.
One of those inside info people should tell Drew since they apparently know more than he does about it.

Or their interpretation of what they said. Or what they thought he said.
No...its not just one person and Beau has told them the same thing.
You comprehend that often times what people say in interviews or during a media day isn't the truth, right?
Drew was gone...everyone knew it...James collected money and sold hin in winning a title. Drew felt obligated to return. Beau is still livid with James.
The timeline alone indicates Drew was gone. Ignoring everything else.

Keep sticking with your story…even the person who was in it doesn’t know as much as you do.

Again you're using what he said on the record to the press. Do you believe everything people tell the press or just when it's fits your narrative?

Do you believe everything someone tells you even when it’s second or third hand when it fits your narrative?

I think the reasoning was that since the WR is looking back and the DB is not, if the WR doesn't catch the ball there's a good chance for a DPI call.
