CC had another great game. However, her constant whining is getting old. It's amazing the refs continue to put up with it. She seems to throw a fit on every foul that 's called on her. SW and the front office need to sit her down and get that corrected.
Good luck housebreaking Caitlin. She's just wired up different. Diana Taurasi was worse and she was still mouthing off and bitching until she retired at age 42.

Most of the players in the WNBA do this. Did you not see Tiffany Hayes whining? Have you not seen Angel Reese complaining every time she's called for a foul? Funny how CC is the only one people like to call out for it.
There is a whole lot of it’s good for me but not for thee in the W. Ben touches on it in the video above. If you don’t like her little pushes and stuff, don’t illegally impede her movement and chuck her on defense. It goes both ways.

That’s like cutting Samson’s hair. It’s how she plays, so no one is going to change it. I coached a kid like that and he whined his way all the way to first team all state and a college scholarship. And did you happen to see every player on Golden State? Whined about every foul called on them or not called on the Fever.

And I will add that it’s like the refs forgot about enforcing freedom of movement. They grabbed at her a lot and not much was called, whereas in the first few games there was a hair trigger on the whistle. So random. I can see why she was pissed.

The hair trigger whistles weren’t going to last, there would be 100 foul shots a game and they would take three hours to play. The only “good” on ball defenders in the league are the ones who get away with grabbing and holding (I.e. D. Carrington). The players are not athletic enough to keep up, so they grab and hold.

I would rather have the players play within the rules to the extent their athleticism allows, and then the have the refs enforce rules infractions. If the scores are high the scores are high.

I’ve come to the conclusion that there just aren’t that many likable players in the W. Like hardly any. The most likable one is probably Boston. I am a Caitlin fan and find all of her spunk incredibly entertaining, but I could see how non-fans are irritated by her. Even if I was mildly entertained by players not on the fever I’d have to be bored out of my mind to watch a non-fever game with bad basketball and whining.

They are calling the games way tighter. You guys are seeing what you want to see. CC is getting a lot more calls this year 35 ft from the hoop as she’s being bodied. There were 24 and 26 fouls called, so 50 for the game.

Maybe. Have we seen close calls for a few games in a row? I don't believe the answer is to play rugby basketball and hope for change.

Exactly. It's always funny to hear from the ones who don't care about women's basketball, don't watch women's basketball, aren't impressed by women's basketball, etc., engaging in message board threads about women's basketball and putting up lengthy posts about why they don't care about women's basketball, don't watch women's basketball, and aren't impressed by women's basketball. Lol.
Yup.

Just happened to catch the second half of the Wings at Liberty game. Fudd was certainly no dud in this game. Made like 4 straight three-pointers in the 3rd along with a few steals and a couple of blocks. Ended up with 6 three-pointers, 1 shy of Caitlin's rookie record which Caitlin shares with someone else (not Paige). I was okay with that.

Comfortable 15-point road win vs NYL, rather impressive.

Yet other than one game, she hasn’t gone to the line more than five times in a game.
