USC RPI is a mirage. They’re not a good team. At least not a host team. 2 big 12 hosts (as mediocre as that league was this year) is more fair than 4 big 10 hosts.

Remember this day when people are not emphasizing pre conference wins/losses and midweek games. They (through RPI) can make all the difference in a close race. We took care of business. Arkansas didn’t.
The SECT is nothing but a click goldmine for D1 and BA. Let us all remember this going forward.
If it had anything to do with that Arkansas would be hosting and West Virginia wouldn’t be.

I'm betting USC, with a possibility of Wake Forest or Jacksonville State.
I think we're in the 13-16 range, so our 2 will be in the 17-20 range. Arkansas and Ole Miss likely to be in 17-20 range, and they won't come here. Oregon State likely to be in the 17-20, and they'll want to send them to Oregon if it lines up, so we'll probably get whoever is left over in the 17-20 range. USC has an RPI of 9, so I assume they won't fall out of the top 20 seeds.

Oregon State (19)
Wake Forest (20)
Cincy (22)
are the top four 2 seeds
If its geography-based (ACC teams and SBC/CUSA teams)
Wake Forest (20)
Jacksonville State (25)
Virginia (26)
Coastal Carolina (27)
are the top four 2 seeds. Oklahoma State and Miami are possibilities as well.
Possible 3 seeds are Missouri State, Liberty, Louisiana, Troy
Alabama State won the SWAC, Lipscomb won the A-Sun, and Little Rock won the OVC if they go regional on the 4 seed but I could see them flying anyone in.
My guess is we get Virginia, Louisiana or Troy, and a random 4 seed from the Northeast.

Had Arkansas won today they MIGHT have gotten to host. Otherwise, they were a carbon copy of us in '24. Head scratching non-con losses, came on late to finish 17-13 in the SEC, RPI around 20.
I would guess Southern Cal, Wake Forest or Virginia would be decent bets. Maybe Missouri St or Jacksonville St.
