What a team! The stones by Ricketts to pitch Everett (the #3). Just…. Wow!

We just got to Gatlinburg for my girl to play in her All-American (allstar) tournament this week. I got to watch the last inning. Sat here slack jawed until the end.

I'm so glad our girls are performing well and introducing our fan base into one of the best sports around. They may not convert die hard men’s sports fans, but atleast you can say they’re entertaining.

That pitcher had only pitched 12 innings all year then crammed it like that to send them to the World Series.

With tears in her eyes in the postgame interview she drops “An underdog is still a freaking dog!!!”

Put it on a shirt!! I have a feeling that’s the next dawgs win again movement.

It's hard to put your head around what they just did. It feels maybe even more improbable than the women beating UConn.

That has to be one of the most prolific offenses in college softball history. They came in batting 17ing .390 as a team with more HRs than we'll hit in 5 seasons.

And our starter, who hasn't pitched a total of 15 innings all season, goes out and shuts them the 17 out for the first time in 399 games on their home field.

All of this after we came back from 4 and 3 run deficits in the last two innings to win the first game so this moment was even possible.

Hard to put into words how much this is not believable.

Coach Ricketts is so intelligent and there’s so much that goes into it. She was cool a cucumber that entire series… a quiet confidence like we got this. Selmon better be ready to open up the checkbook.

I honestly love baseball. I’ve followed closely since I can remember. But, from having been involved with both I can extremely confidently say that softball is a FAR better product. I’m glad a lot of other folks are starting to see it too and society is changing for the better. Can definitely really enjoy both.

I saw he was there hugging her.

Can't say our Oklahoma transplants had any reservations about breaking Sooner hearts.
