Have a hard time getting worked up about not being able to beat GT with our depth arms. Not sure anybody can do that. Could have held an arm back yesterday and beat Pitt with the bats but they prioritized staying on schedule and getting guaranteed work, hard to argue with that.
Maybe but I don’t think the strategy should’ve been try to out hit GT when it didn’t work on Sunday a month ago either

You guys need to stop licking forbes boots. Hes just been fortunate to play a bunch of weak teams in the ACC no diff than Mack Brown. Over-ranked again. This team will not make Omaha, bootlickers.

No idea how you can take that ball Gav. The mental approach at the plate has to be just terrible for that to happen… even if you stupidly guessed fastball, you gotta have a late trigger to foul it off. Ugh. Just shouldn’t ever happen. Don’t mind the fact that the guy hasn’t gotten a fastball close in two batters.

We allowed 5 runs in that Sunday game with all the pitchers who have thrown today. In a couple posts today you’ve acted like they bombed us in that game.

They weren’t going to hold Lynch and risk him not throwing this weekend, even if it decreased our chances of winning the tournament. If you disagree with that decision, that’s fine.

The best hitters on planet earth get fooled sometimes. Hitting is hard.

Think we’ll be behind Auburn, UGA, GT, and UCLA now. Will be interested to see who we get paired with

Being behind Auburn would be wrong. They’re under .500 in Q1 and our Q1/Q2 combined record is much better. They shouldn’t get a higher seed just because they played a harder schedule. Basically every projection I’ve seen has us 4.

It’s still not excusable to sit there with a slow round breaking ball come right down middle middle and you don’t flinch. The guy hasn’t been close to the plate with his fastball. Why’d you be sitting dead and only fastball is just a mistake. Thats not hard… that’s doing something very wrong mentally in that scenario… And honestly he’s done it quite a few times this season in exactly the same scenario.
