I played in an era when you could take out infielders on slides and could block the plate or run over the catcher if he blocked it and batters did get plunked for showing up a pitcher. Pretty evident you never played and have no knowledge of the history of the game and are part of the new wuss era of sports. Just stick to your message boards.

Hard not to feel like we lost this game in the top of the first. Had a chance at a big number and bad baserunning ruined it. They’re going to hit, especially in this ballpark.

So we’ve been saying half the season, Boaz is not a weekend starter. We won’t go far with him as the 3rd starter. And now we’ve used our two bullpen arms and having nothing in the tank. How many times does it have to happen….?
Not having a good starter for game 3 is what could very well end our season earlier than expected

Right now Coach Forbes is making a decision on whether or not he is playing to win this game or save his pitching staff. If Coach is playing to win, Boaz needs to come out before another run scores.
