If he can keep getting high level four stars and get that class ranking overall to 90-91 that would be really special. He’s on the cusp.
Yessir. Been expecting this if you follow my previous posts. 2 RB in what? 2 days? I have the hugest man crush on Stein. I won’t even lie.
These rankings are so wild. Aren’t we like 22 on Rivals I think it is? Or one of those sites.

Yes. Need to end with a couple top 200 type four stars and we should stay around the top 10-15. Fantastic first class so far and a ton of superstar potential mixed in. Ball is underrated in my opinion, he has unbelievable talent, his IQ is off the charts and he finds the holes very well with top end home run speed. He’s the lowest rated recruit so far but could end up having one of the better careers. Can’t say enough about the staff and who they’re going after.

Maybe Coach Stein can loan his recruiters to Pope for a cycle. Would be nice if he could close like the football staff

I don’t even know anymore. I think the composite ranking is the best indicator. Combining all of them for an average makes a lot of sense, to me at least.

Our worst FB recruiter dog walks the best BB recruiter we have. If we even have a “basketball recruiter”.
People say he’s still getting three stars, but they overlook the fact that he has quite a few four stars and highly rated ones at good positions as well. His three stars are also guys who were considering real football powers and not guys going to like Marshall. The caliber and type of player he is recruiting is awesome, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him pull a five star pretty soon. If we have a solid first year and exciting style I can see his recruiting really picking up. I see us finishing more like 6th-7th type range in the SEC vs. fighting for 14th in the future.

Dang, we're already sitting at 18 commits before the end of May! How many more high school recruits do we take in this class? I hope we are extremely selective with the final handful of rides and try to close out the class with as many 4 stars as possible so that we firmly remain in that top 10-15 range.
I’m excited for the Stein era. He really brought some excitement back to Football season at the very least. People can’t forget that Indiana largely built their team with solid three stars and some four stars the last two years along with key transfers. They didn’t go after the top guys. Guys who fit their system and key skill positions. Plus coaching really helps.
