Considering how last season ended, the bar is set pretty low. So definitely improvement better be shown.I think Beamer has given us 2 good seasons and overachieved in his first season. I think better days are ahead for the for the football program. He made three outstanding hires this offseason on the offensive side of the ball, took him a while, but he finally hired a solid OC, OL and RB coach. I believe we will be much improved this season!
Nothing like paying a coach tens of millions of dollars to learn how to do his job.I think Beamer has given us 2 good seasons and overachieved in his first season. If we're blessed with good health, we'll do better than 7-5 in 2026.Nothing like paying a coach tens of millions of dollars to learn how to do his job.
I see a 7-5 season coming and hope springing eternal yet again.
2 cupcakes on the schedule, I'm being generous with 5 conference wins. Clemson, while down from their high point, is still a talented team and it will be tough to win up there. Sellers is still a RB playing QB in the SEC, the best WR is a track athlete playing football and the OL will be a completely new group. If we're blessed with good health, we'll do better than 7-5 in 2026.
Quite possibly sentencing this program to an inescapable destiny of mediocrity forevermore.Nothing like paying a coach tens of millions of dollars to learn how to do his job.

Considering that already our top two OT’s are out or highly unlikely and our star DE isn’t going to play…….If we're blessed with good health, we'll do better than 7-5 in 2026.
Hopefully one of these is not like the others.

Yes Stewart. His back is broken and not healing properly. Can’t lift weights or anything. But some how he should miraculously be ready to play SEC ball come fall without off season workouts.I heard about the two OT's, but who's not playing at DE? Stewart? What's the story?

It appears to be written in the stars. 130+ years of mediocrity punctuated by the briefest glimpses of real success.Quite possibly sentencing this program to an inescapable destiny of mediocrity forevermore.

The pessimism is quite strong here.Considering that already our top two OT’s are out or highly unlikely and our star DE isn’t going to play…….
He is and has always been a hillbilly. NC State and Hyman warned us.Hopefully one of these is not like the others.
The problem is easily diagnosed. We don't have the money for Beamer to out recruit most of the SEC. He's not good at game planning or in-game coaching. He's a cheerleader/special teams coach at best. He's never going to out coach pretty much all of the teams we play. We'll be lucky to be mediocre with him in the NIL / 9 game SEC era.Quite possibly sentencing this program to an inescapable destiny of mediocrity forevermore.
