As big as outer space is and as many galaxies that have been photographed by the Hubble telescope, it's almost impossible for there to not be life elsewhere. Just think about all the other stars and solar systems within our own galaxy also. The expanse is impossible to grasp. There HAS to be life out there somewhere. Whether or not they are visiting Earth is another question. It's hard to grasp too, but maybe they have figured out a way to bend time and space and take shortcuts. I've said it before, but just a few decades ago we weren't able to comprehend a gadget we could navigate with, FaceTime people on the other side of the world with and look up information on anything with that could fit in our pocket.
It doesn’t HAVE to be out there. I suspect it probably is, at least in primitive form. But we just don’t know one way or the other. But extraterrestrial life bending space & time to take shortcuts to reach us is just fiction (I won’t even see science fiction it’s so ridiculous). That’s not happening. And it has nothing to do with people not imaging smart phones hundreds of years ago.

I don't know, there's so many variables that have to come together. It's not just temperature, gravity and molar ratios, it's also things like pH and secondary plus tertiary protein structures. Proteins have to be folded precisely to have biologic activity. Then they have to be in an environment where they stay in that structure without being degraded long enough to yield reproducible cellular machines. The totally of all the variables is going to be extremely hard for chance to overcome.

Talking with people on the other side of the earth with a gadget that.could fit in your pocket was fiction at one time too.

One underestimated variable in our favor is our moon. It’s a freak. No other planet had a moon like this. It stabilizes the wobble in our rotation which gives us consistent seasons that don’t change wildly as our axis of rotation changes. It also gives us tides which are hugely important. Another underestimated variable is plate tectonics. No other planet we know of has it & without it life would not exist on earth.

Ask those two dudes that were “abducted”while sitting on a pier on the coast of MS if they think UFO’s and aliens exist?
I once knew a girl at State from
Gulf Breeze, FL and she was convinced UFO’s were real.
She was blonde so that may have to factor into it some.

Nay.

To travel so far through asteroid belts, bypass supernovas and black-holes, then get through a minefield of an atmosphere to get here, they sure are subtle.
All you have to do is plug it into the Navicomputer so you don't fly to close to a supernova because that would end your trip real quick.

I’m a nay also. Not trying to start a fight, but, I believe in God,Jesus ,the Bible and am a creationist. That being the case, there are no aliens
Isn't God and Alien to us? He is not human. Plus he can do all those things that some in this post say is impossible. He can bend space and time. He is all knowing. He can travel through multiple planes of existence. Seems if you believe in God you must believe in aliens.

Yay, but they’re intelligent enough not to contact our ignorant asses

honestly the universe is too large for there to be no other life out there but I don’t believe any of it has developed to the point of true space travel.

I believe in God, Jesus, the Bible and am a creationist as well. “Aliens” are real and studies of people with close encounters of these beings report they all flee with the mention of Jesus’ name. These aliens are trans dimensional demonic entities and fallen angels. Some may even be nonbiological creations (almost like robots). Genesis 6 describes the Nephilim created by fallen angels breeding with women. The fallen angels have never stopped trying to corrupt the genetic image of God.

The gub'mint is pushing this alien thing way too hard. When they this hard to convince you of something, believe this opposite. This is a little about distraction, but mostly power and money.

If they exist they technology is massively superior to ours. And if that's the case I don't see why they'd be so fascinated with us that they'd travel light years to visit. Be like us traveling to China to look at a single cell bacteria.

Think you are on to something Bruce! Yes, there are a lot of supernatural events all throughout the Bible. And why not? If God created the Earth and everything in it (which IMO he most certainly did) how could he not have created other universes and planets like Earth that may be far in advance of our technology and society. I've always said UFO's could be 1) government top secret stuff, or, 2) Biblical beings who are transversing through different realms of our universe.....we do live in a different realm than God & Heaven. And while Satan is active at this time on earth, we cannot see him or his legions of workers doing their bad things to us. Nevertheless, God lets him operate with a short leash and occasionally his world will interact with our world. And the speed of Heavenly or Abysmal beings traveling through and in between these different realms is shocking and startling to say the least.....like nothing we have ever seen or experienced.

simple statistics will tell you based on the size of the universe that we are not alone. It is a mathematical improbability that another carbon based life form doesn’t exist in the vast expanses. It’s also a mathematical improbability either of us or them are technologically advanced enough to travel fast enough through hundreds or thousands of light years of space to greet one another in any kind realistic life span for any being.

Big yay. IMO, the odds of us being alone are astronomically low considering all the star systems.

Some of the members of the House Intelligence Committee have dropped hints on some of the more information that’s forthcoming that make it sound like whatever it is are trans dimensional beings. I’ll wait and see if the info ever actually comes out.

I’m in the maybe category. The numbers say there’s no way we aren’t alone in the universe. Out of the billions of stars in just the Milky Way alone the statistics say there’s some place out there like earth.

I’m a Christian and a day age creationist and it doesn’t shape or shake my faith. God created man in his own image, it doesn’t say he didn’t create anyone else and he could have created them way before he created us.

Also if there are visitors from other planets in our galaxy they aren’t going to just fly in with a space ship. They’re going to use something that can bend time or space to make the trip much shorter.
