That's not what it is. Anyone who was abused by Merrick Garland could make a claim. Then it would get evaluated. People are going to sue anyways once more information on the illegal **** conducted by them cones out. So unfortunately a fund will need started.

So Republicans and Democrat politicians can cry about it. But they should have thought about that when they allowed lawfare to happen. Matter of fact creating a fund might be the cheapest way out of this. Why? Because this isn't the Soviet Union and even turds have rights. Large class action lawsuit eventually coming because of Democrats and Never Trumpers stupidity.

So you are insinuating that the QUOTED Senate Republicans are lying. This is completely ABSURD!! When would it EVER be acceptable to ANYONE for the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT to set aside close to TWO BILLION DOLLARS of TAX PAYERS MONEY for a fund to defend CRIMINALS more less ANYONE! This is BEYOND COMPREHENSION. There is NO DEFENSE for this. And on top of that, let’s spend another $100 MILLION on a Trump Arch. Is that what you voted for? Just mind boggling what is going on in Washington these days and the MAGA sheep just continue to turn a blind eye to the CORRUPTION and the financial Waste, Fraud and ABUSE that is happening daily. I understand you are likely from West Virginia, and President Trump is Pro-Coal, so you support him. But you would NEVER support a democrat who did HALF of what this president is doing. You’d rake them over the “coals.” Pun intended. And what’s even more ironic, without the support of TWO DEMOCRATS, Kennedy and Byrd, West Virginia wouldn’t have the highway system or the Government PORK they have today. Just sayin.

We wouldn't be in that situation if you idiots would have just accepted the fact Trump was elected President by We the People. The lawsuits are coming once the indictments start rolling in.

What? Are you still claiming the 2020 election was stolen? You really do live in a MAGA bubble. Zero Proof but it must be true because my Supreme Leader said so.

Good attempt at diversion BTW. 👍 Please stick to the topic at hand. Trump’s $2B Criminal Defense Fund.

Please stick to the topic. Please tell me why you think it’s acceptable to spend $2B in TaxDollars on a criminal defense/retribution fund. Oh wait, you can’t, so you try and change the topic. Nice try. 👍

No it's very relevant. You are having an aneurysm because some people whose constitutional rights were violated by the weaponized Biden DOJ might get paid. Yet when Biden is responsible for the DEATHS of Americans, you are silent. It shows me that you are not a serious person.

Look dumbass there are numerous investigations going on about it and that information has been posted on this board numerous times. The sources were from those that are conducting the investigations. Stop pretending you haven't already seen it and don't understand what's happening. Hence why you are crying about it.

I don't need to defend it. The dumbass politicians that allowed stupid **** to happen because they didn't like Trump are going to have to defend it. They can explain it to their voters. Good luck with that. FYI any Democrats and Independents targeted under Biden are also eligible to file a claim.

This afternoon, a former managing assistant U.S. Attorney who supported Jack Smith’s politicized investigation of President Trump has been charged with stealing the confidential investigation documents. Carmen Lineberger allegedly emailed the confidential material to her own personal email, disguising them as dessert recipes to conceal them from record searches. Lineberger is charged with four felony counts in the indictment. This FBI will not hesitate to bring to account those who violated the trust of the American public in an investigation that should’ve never been brought to begin with.

Please defend the $2B, tax payer funded, Criminal Defense Fund, and $100M arch. I’m glad you’re happy WASTING tax payer dollars on RIDICULOUS and UNPRECEDENTED spending. If Biden, Obama or any other Democrat did this you’d be going NUTS. Instead, you dismiss it because your Supreme Leader is responsible. I have an idea, next time you pay your Federal Taxes, assuming you do, just write me the check instead. I PROMISE YOU I’ll put it to better use by funding a children’s charity.

You obviously are playing dumb about what this is really about. Trump dropped a 10 billion lawsuit against the IRS that he definitely was going to win in order for Republicans, MAGA, Independents, and even Democrats to file a claim if they were abused by the Biden’s DOJ. Not just for Jan 6 .

If your favorite politician wants to run against that then good luck. Let them know they can come up with their own excuses to give their voters.

This isn't the win against Trump some think it is. Lawsuits are coming. Trump is actually trying to set an example that saves us money when they do. These politicians should have thought about that before they cheered the lawfare against American Civilians from Government Agencies. 1.776 billion will probably be a bargain when it's over.

I don't support this, but were you bitching as loudly when they ILLEGALLY released his (Trump's) private tax returns? You do realize he sued for that and this is being offered as a compromise settlement of the 10 billion dollar lawsuit he's filed against the government?

I do think it's silly, (I'd rather he follow through on the lawsuit) and anyone who broke the Law during Jan 6 was rightfully prosecuted, but where are the prosecutions for folks who were inciting violence in that mob?

So you're OK with Trump getting the billions he's sued the Government for violating his privacy rights when some anti-Trump haters in the IRS released his private tax returns illegally right?

Not everyone is going to get it. They have to go through a process. The process will evaluate who deserves compensation. People might not like it but a Settlement is cheaper than the alternative.

The Alternative is our Government is going to get its *** sued off for what Biden’s DOJ did to people.

I agree, but the OP didn't say anything about that did he? He's just butt hurt over Trump, and looking for anyway to criticize him. How the Hell is he upset over the privately financed Trump "arc", but he has zero to say about all the Medicare fraud now being prosecuted in Minnesota? We're talking literally billions stolen from taxpayers with nothing being done about it by Biden or Walz!

I'll admit creepy Joe Biden got more votes than anyone ever in history if you can tell me why all those vote counts in States he was losing badly in were all suddenly shut down? Explain that, and I'll admit all his late last minute votes counted after the sudden shut downs were all legitimate. :sneaky:

*by the way, leave out Georgia, there was no water main break that was given as the reason they stopped counting here when Trump was ahead and about to win this State)

Biden's administration removed all the safeguards designed to stop fraud in Medicare funding to the States, and they used the DOJ as a political weapon to spy on Americans illegally, and prosecute Americans simply because of their political affiliations!

Why aren't you complaining about that? Also, can you tell me why they stopped counting votes in Georgia on election night in '20? What was the official reason given since it wasn't because of a water main break?

I'll 100% guarantee you won't answer any of this.

As expected, NOT ONE OF YOU, Not One, is able to justify spending $2 BILLION of TAX PAYERS DOLLARS, on a Criminal Defense Fund. And guess what? There is No Defense. Even his Fellow Republicans think it’s Total BS and are HOPEFULLY going to reject it. All you are able to do is attack ME personally for telling the TRUTH and DEFLECT and Blame Biden. You Have NOTHING!! Where’s that Health Care Plan you were promised? Where are those Lower Prices you were promised? What happened to the promise of not sending American Troops to fight in Foreign Wars? I’m sure the American Public, and you folks, will get a lot of use from that new Ball Room. Hilarious. Now please continue your deflecting and name calling because you have No Rebuttal.

You're right...everything you claim is true. Now tell me why those vote counts were all suddenly shut down in every State Trump was leading the night of the '20 election?

Start with Georgia. If I don't hear a legitimate fact based response from you, I withdraw my claim that all of your Left wing drivel over funding for the WH ballroom, the arch, and all the rest of your mind numbed diatribe is not only factually untrue, but factually incorrect...or worse an outright lie.

Shewwwww, you mad.

I think it’s fine to earmark funds for the ensuing lawsuits for extreme mistreatment, violation of constitutional rights, and reprehensible treatment American citizens received by the last admin. The lawsuits are inevitable and grounded in fact. Moreover, as the information has been released, it’s been proven that the SPLC funded some of the people of J6, over 100 people there were contracted agitators by the FBI, effectively leading the insurrection. Now, that said, there were some willing idiots.

Trump never said no more wars. That’s absurd. He campaigned on no more endless wars. It’s been 2.5 months, 1 of which, has been on a ceasefire. Hardly endless. He’s also secured a ceasefire in Gaza, and marching towards a ceasefire in Ukraine. Seems like he’s delivering.

gas prices are way up as a result of the war. Not a fan, but it’s transient and will free fall once the straight is opened up.

he’s lowered prescription drug prices. Fact.

he’s released the info on JFK, UAPs, opened up treatment options for vets, ended DEI, closed the border, and has a massive wave of retribution on fraud in Dem run states.

You’re never gonna get 100% with any president. He’s at about 90% with me, and that’s damn good. Considering the alternative, it’s an easy decision.

thanks for your attention to this matter.

Thanks for correcting the record @DvlDog4WVU, we won't hear factual rebuttals from that butt hurt Leftist like yours and I'll just add this one to your excellent recitation of the FACTS.

Funding for the Triumphal arch hasn't even been. set yet, and IT IS NOT being paid for solely by taxpayer funds!

Same with the ballroom. Private funding for its construction has already been raised. There is a dispute in Congress over how to pay for security for the ballroom, but it is not entirely being paid for by taxpayers.

THAT IS A LIE!

From AI sourced research

The proposed White House ballroom is primarily financed by private donations and the President, but it is not exclusively privately funded; it requires significant taxpayer money for security, and a similar mix is planned for the arch. While the $300-$400 million ballroom project was marketed as privately funded, reports indicate it relies on taxpayer-funded security, with a $220 million check sought.

*editor's note

Trump also raised private funds to clean up the dirty Lincoln Memorial reflecting pond. Obama spent 30 million in taxpayer funds on the same project and it ended up dirtier and grimier than it was before!

Add on top of that, he is spending Hundreds (WASTING) HUNDREDS of MILLIONS $$$ of TAX PAYER DOLLARS on a new BALL ROOM and a stupid ARCH. How can you POSSIBLY defend that type of RECKLESS SPENDING? All you are able to do is attack ME personally for telling the TRUTH and DEFLECT and Blame Biden. You Have NOTHING!! Where’s that Health Care Plan you were promised? Where are those Lower Prices you were promised? What happened to the promise of not sending American Troops to fight in Foreign Wars? Instead, we get a $2B Criminal Defense Fund to defend he and his Uber-Wealthy Friens and the January 6th insurrectionists/criminals, a New Multi-Million Dollar White House Ball Room, (which he SAID would be privately funded. lol), and a $100M ARCH. I’m sure the American Public, and you folks, will get a lot of use from that new Ball Room. Hilarious. Now please continue your deflecting and name calling because you have No Rebuttal.

Didn't read. You proved several posts above that you don't understand how basic **** works and refuse to learn.. I also hope you don't have friends in the IRGC.

I'm perfectly fine with him bombing the **** out of them for this.

Extreme Mistreatment?? Holding him and his fellow criminals to the letter of the LAW is Extreme Mistreatment? Holding him accountable to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution Of The United States is Extreme Mistreatment? Please tell me how he and his associates were mistreated? What about ending the Russian - Ukraine War on Day 1? Last I checked, they are still fighting. So now these price increases are transient? Where have I heard that before? And have you noticed that the MAJORITY of his policies have been enacted via Executive Order and NOT by legislation? Even though the Republicans control Both Houses of Congress. And I’m glad you’re happy with him spending $2B$$$ of Yours and My Tax Dollars on a Criminal Defense Fund, to defend himself and his fellow criminals, a new ballroom and an arch. Oh, and I’m sure that new Healthcare Plan is just days away. Unbelievable.

I’d ask you to educate yourself about what transpired while the individuals were pending trial. Pretty abhorrent treatment. Given your obvious ignorance of the topic, it’s pointless to discuss it with you.

My understanding is the ballroom is privately funded. The Arch de Trump? What’s wrong with it? Should we tear down the other monuments as well? Or you’re good with those? How about his reclamation of the infinity pool? Should we go pour motor oil in it? Or you good with its cleanup? DC desperately needed an overhaul, it started with him cleaning up the crime, that has plummeted.

The Iran war? That’s been wildly successful. Testament to the men and women executing the missions, glad we have this president at the helm to handle it. We’re lucky.

Ukraine war? You should again get up to speed. The fraud was unbelievable and the GOP’s reservations were well founded.

But again, given the alternative the nation faced? We’re so much better off with this administration. So much better. But, I agree, it is fair to criticize what you don’t like. I encourage it. Myself, I’m mostly happy with the vote I cast.

Typical. If you can’t back up your claims, attack the credibility of your opponent. Your Supreme Leader has taught you well. You might want to question your own intelligence for beleving the BS you’re being Spoon-Fed by your Supreme Leader. Your response is a complete co-out. List 3 ways Trump and his Colleagues were mistreated? And you’re OK with them spending Your Tax Dollars for THEIR defense expenses? If I am “mistreated,” I’ll be sure to give you a call to help pay for MY legal and retribution expenses? Appreciate the help, bro. 👍 And we were TOLD by your Supreme Leader that the ballroom was all privately funded. That’s no longer the case. Shocking I Know. lol And tear down other monuments? What are you talking about? The only Tear Down I am aware of is the Tear Down of the East Wing of the White House to build your ballroom.
