YESSIR! Stein is absolutely killing it. Probably get another RB tomorrow.

Also, the schools we are beating out for these players is wild. If Stein can get us rolling, we will see recruiting classes that are unheard of around here. From my lips to Gods ear, make it happen please.

Apparently his dad was on Clemson staff but he still selected YK over them…
Damn a really great pickup then and before someone poo poo's on a 3 star does everyone see who is on the list that we are beating out for some of these players..... For example this player Clemson ( with his dad on Clemson's staff), Florida, and Virginia Tech. We are beating FOOTBALL schools for FOOTBALL players.

The RB Kelsey Gerald yesterday that people were poo pooing on he's a 3 star but we beat defending National champs IU and 2 football schools in Auburn and FSU for his service.

It isn't like we are beating out MAC schools or Ohio Valley Schools for the services of these kids we are beating out the BIG BOYS.

I just really love the direction Stein is going and I think he will be an excellent on the field coach with the staff he has surrounding him.

Like I said, he'll win a title in year 4 or 5

What’s this about? I know about that commit. Another RB is making his announcement tomorrow. I’m super pumped about the dude you posted about. Supposedly has real good hands so we can throw to him as well. Also apparently has blazing speed. We’re about to see talent that we haven’t seen in a long while if ever around here. And a bunch of it.

Some quick research yielded: There are only 32 five star recruits in each season (to mirror the number of first round NFL picks). And, on average 350 four-star recruits and 2,000+ three-star recruits. So, obviously a three-star recruit is damn good.
Is that accurate? The number of 5 stars? I feel like that’s not correct. I didn’t do the research unlike you so I could be completely wrong.

I first found it through AI. Then found a reddit forum response. Then another forum. And a small website. So, not sure. I suppose I should've prefaced it
I mean, damn. I’ll take your word for it lol. I just always thought FB had a smaller size of 5 stars compared to BB who has a much smaller pool of players.

Thanks for the research bro.

First off, Stein (if “successful” at UK) will be at a high major football school by then, and if not, I’ll give you 20/1 odds that he doesn’t win a title, at any point, during his tenure at UK!

For everyone else excited that he’s taking a few 3-4 stars from other “football schools”, let me know when he gets a commitment from a 5 star also considering OSU, Texas, Michigan etc.

Thanks in advance 👍🏼

Clueless. He and his family are huge UK fans. He wanted to play at UK. This is his dream job.

Let ME know how those 5* did against Indiana?

For sure. All these guys who only know how basketball works have no idea, or just won’t listen. You just can’t compare the two sports! A football program takes a village and hundreds of people compared to ten to 20 for a basketball team. Also, there’s over 1.4 million kids playing high school football every year, compared to 900,000 playing Basketball. A top 1000 football player is a great player.

Please save your stupid takes for the basketball threads. Let the adults talk in the football threads.
Thanks in advance
