I’ve got a better chance to recruit this stud to my Rec League, than Pope has beating the other suitors out for him!

I know they have to write about it, but there's really no reason for articles to be written about UK basketball recruiting top high school players.
Can't out-pay BYU. Can't out blue-blood UNC w/ Pope at the helm. Can't out-Kentucky Louisville.

Yes, I would rather fire Pope right now, have Malachi Moreno player-coach the team, and work on rebuilding the foundation of the program, which is rotten to its core.
UL recovered just fine from Kenny Payne. Sometimes you need pain to enact real change.
I would argue I am more of a Kentucky fan than you, because I have standards for the program, whereas you are happy with mediocrity. Thankfully, you and your kind are not in the majority, whether on these boards or across the globe.

Malachi was a reference to a previous post I made in another thread saying if Malachi wants to come back but is on the fence because he would rather get away from Pope, then get rid of Pope and pay Malachi the salary.
But honestly, there's nothing on this coaching staff. Nothing. Mark Fox? Mo Williams? That guy is a certified idiot with his Stokes tweet and then the one about being loaded. So maybe Malachi player-coaching isn't so far fetched.

East Texas near Tyler. I grew up in Valley Station, so not really in the city more southwest Jefferson County not a big fan of the city. But let's be honest can't say much for Houston either.

I have to see who we play the week of Christmas. I have not been on a cat game since college that was longer than I'd like to remember

I got a place you can stay in Lexington if you ever come. Can’t help on tickets unfortunately. Used to be able to. Last UK game I attended was I believe Cals last at Rupp when we beat Arkansas of all people.
I reallt want to catch a football game since I haven’t been in forever and want to check out the upgrades done to the stadium.
My daughter lives in Saint Matthew so it's a quick drive to Lexington pop over for a bite and talk about the cats I think that would be cool. I'll drop my wife off shopping.
Yeah I went to uk from 79 to 81 before I joined the army and I was having the time of my life. We were horrible under Fran Curci back then in football but avoided we have a good time during the games.!
