i wonder if they're looking ahead and trying to get everybody on a week's rest for next week - this way, you have renfrow vs the potential regional host if you win game 1. one of the considerations you have to have as a 2-3 seed.

I’m not saying you’re wrong generally speaking…but DeCaro looked great that inning. Great pitchers are stubborn and he was just off the plate with about 5 fastballs and then they spit on a couple of nice offspeed pitches because of the counts.
