Cupcakes…Curious when the debate between Twinkies and Ding Dongs begins?
Nope. Inferior product, imoA Little Debbie's maybe.
HA! That’s my road name “Double Stuff”.Let's all be honest. The "black" Oreo sucks.
Double Stuft is the only way to go.
Mmmmmm the black the berry…..
Dammit Mike. I really want to say “why doesn’t this surprise me from a PSU guy”. But I just can’t. My wife and I sat in a booth with nothing but PSU fans at B1Gs I was mortified that they were gonna meet “that side” of my wife. Go figure. She converted them all to Hawkeye fans. They all wanted pictures with my kid when he came up. I was so proud!Pancetta, figs, shallots and goat cheese.

1. Mr. Arnold was my father. Round here, I’m just coach p or Phil. Are you by chance a quail hunter Mr. Arnold?
Well Phil, given that, I would invite you on a southern Iowa quail hunt this fall. All I can promise is that the quarry (quail and also pheasant) will be present. What happens after in terms of bagging said quarry is TBD.1. Mr. Arnold was my father. Round here, I’m just coach p or Phil.
2. If it walks this earth, and is edible, I either have shot at it, wanna shoot at it, or am gonna shoot at it, and then eat it.
I’m just an old country boy. Daddy made the BEST squirrel pie!

Let's do it. Get that gun sir. I have a nice new 20 guage that I have yet to shoot...I got it couple of years ago in preparation for a dove hunting trip to Argentina that then didn't happen. I'll use to bag a few regal bobwhites here in Iowa instead.Hot Dog!! Now I have an honest reason to get that Beretta 687 Eel Classic.
Had a close friend who did the Argentina dove trip. Pretty pricey but he said well worth it. He was there like 4 days and shot 1000 shells per day. After the first day he had a young man who filled the gun with shells. Arm was sore and so was his hands. But got over 3,000 birds. The help picked up the birds. Said there are so many they repopulated faster than the daily kill....Let's do it. Get that gun sir. That had to be one crazy expensive trip. Just the cost of 4,000 shells alone.....Did he have all 3,000+ birds dressed just for cooking? Taxidermy? Hell, how could he even freeze, store and transport that much meat home? Private jet?Had a close friend who did the Argentina dove trip. Pretty pricey but he said well worth it. I always thought Dove and Turkey hunting was catch and release. That had to be one crazy expensive trip. Just the cost of 4,000 shells alone.....Did he have all 3,000+ birds dressed just for cooking? Taxidermy? Hell, how could he even freeze, store and transport that much meat home? Private jet?
Sounds like a hell of a time, but "pretty pricey" may be a very loosely used term!

We gonna be so fast we catch grease lightning. Duh!Yes, but how is this going to help Iowa win a national championship?..........
I’m a 20 guy. However, as a kid growing it, it was my daddy’s 410.Now you're speaking my language. I've got a safe full of those I had honest reasons to buy lol!
The real question is do you go 20 gauge or 28?
My 687 28 Ga might be my very favorite and with the right loads and shot distance discipline it has no trouble smashing pheasants and is great for quail.
Fillet and release as we know itI always thought Dove and Turkey hunting was catch and release.

Yes, every snipe I've ever caught was releasedLike a Snipe hunt?
Same, unfortunately, anyone I have ever taken out on their snipe hunt comes back skunked...Yes, every snipe I've ever caught was released
Yes, many dove species, such as Mourning Doves, form lifelong pair bonds and remain monogamous throughout their lives. However, if one mate dies, the surviving dove will typically find a new partner to continue breeding. My mother in law asked my son in law who would shoot doves and didn’t he know that they mate for life and he said “ that’s okay I’ll shoot both of them!”![]()
Who has a better set of pipes, you or J’den?Man, I really was gonna go on a wonderful race baiting tangent about me cooking for “the man” at Carver. But then I thought…. That would be pretty cool. Maybe they’ll even let me sing the National Anthem?
