Ever notice the same ones who go on about how moral victories are worthless are also the loudest whiners when the margin of loss is large? A loss is a loss according to them if it is close but it's the end of the world when you get blown out.

It was beyond ugly but ultimately it was one game and you move on.
Let’s be honest here: the SEC might sponsor basketball, but it certainly doesn’t play basketball. What you all do down there is basically football with a rim attached. It’s 40 minutes of shoulder‑checks, forearm shivers, and “let’s see who survives.”
Duke doesn’t play that brand of “yuck” ball.
We play basketball…skill, spacing, shooting, actual offense. Not this bruiser‑ball where everyone’s exhausted and hurt by February and shocked when they have nothing left in the tank for the NCAA tournament.
lol. This made me laugh. That was a tough loss. Better to sh*t away a tournament game vice sh*t away a whole season before it even starts! Our coach is young and will get better!

It's hard to argue with this one. I don't like it any more than you do. The ref's allowing it to go on definitely works to UK's detriment. I call it out pretty often and even most our own fanbase attacks me for calling it out and blaming officials no matter how bad the actually are.

Duke is the "brand". For now. Eventually the shine will wear off as they go from head coach to head coach having the best of the best players only to lose to a HC worth a ****. Coach K still has massive influence. Even his influence will fade away as Duke squanders the most talented roster every year going forward..
Duke isnt even the biggest brand in your own state lol. And let's face it your Amazon deal is just for self preservation. You will be left out in the cold shortly while your big brother UNC goes to the SEC.
Because I believe he knows this team is not built for a difficult schedule, believe they lose ~14 games or so.
So, unsupported statements become objective fact based on the number of people that agree with it? I mean other than on social media where of course it does.
I believe Kentucky is working on a new tournament/ challenge type game and had to drop Gonzaga to make room on the schedule.
Or and probably more likely, UK and Gonzaga agreed to end the series early because they will both be in the 8 team diamond league tournament.
We just played the two most difficult schedules in our history. You are being an idiot about this. Do you think we should start scheduling NBA teams so you can have more losses to b*tch about?
As long as they replace Gonzaga with a quality opponent and not BFE State, I'm fine. If they don't, then it will be a terrible look. We're not going to get the **** story on why they "mutually agreed" until long after the fact. So while right now I don't like this cancellation, like I said, if we get a good opponent on the schedule in Gonzaga's place, I'm fine.
Again, they're both going to play in the proposed Diamond League tournament. So, that is probably why they made the change.

Yea, everybody complains about the cupcakes on here, even when we have probably played more top 25 teams at the end of the season than anyone. However, a number of these Gonzaga games were at neutral sites and could be sold to a streaming service like Duke did with Amazon. Duke, an extremely wealthy school sold a package of three games on neutral courts to Amazon and if UK, a very poor school in comparison did the same, the wailing and knashing of teeth on here would be great.
