Brian Swaw tweeted that Indiana is landing the best 11 left in the portal (assuming Crook). No idea what our plan is at that weight.
Yeah, what we have in the room simply isn't going to cut it. I don't see anyone who can qualify for Nationals, doubt they can even reach .500.
All the positive peeps/puts big emphasis on hs credentials ready to give up on Parkins already? He was a 2x PA state champ and #29 class recruit.
Wharton School Grad...Maybe He can also help out our Athletic Departments Financial woes! The 9-3 Win over Nini 2 years ago stands out a little

He lost to Magro and Clark last year. Wouldn't expect anything crazy from him. Probably competes with the guys in the room for the starting spot.
Yeah but at what weight? I hope he can’t beat Harer or Nini since one of them is supposed to be the starter @149.
lol Room guy. He’s going to be the starting 141. He wrestled up last year bc of Composto and they had a very close wrestleoff. He is no world beater but he’ll be a NQ and should surprise a guy or 2
Knox makes them better than last year. Take him away and it’s close to the same. The brothers will determine if they’re significantly better than last year.

In 5 seasons at UPenn he has wrestled in exactly 4 duals, going 2-2. He has never wrestled at EIWAs and he has been a NQ exactly zero times. His Wrestlestat ranks in order across his career are #76, N/A, #36, #45, #35, and projected #37 for the upcoming season. Looks like he was strictly a room guy at UPenn and maybe he projects better than that next season but I see no evidence of that. I hope he does well.
I hope you’re right but I believe Ungar is a downgrade and the Hwt will not equal Catka’s year. Ford will be interesting but equal at best in mo.
Don’t forget it was Catka’s first year facing a B10 schedule as well.
Ungar may be a downgrade from the Shawver we used to know. But is he a downgrade from the 2025-26 version of Shawver we saw this past season?
I guess, but Santaniello is now on his 3rd school. For someone with a mediocre resume, kind of a red flag.
I hope Parkins has a big jump this year. So I like Dunnigan filling in at 41-49 as a spot starter.
He could but it’s not guaranteed.. more surprised some people here are ready to write Parkins off already w all the positivity/wishful thinking applied to other recruits… if Parkins was transferring here from another program there would be people here salivating over his hs credentials.

If you are basing on HS credentials, I'd say no. Ungar has similar HS credentials. Who's going ga-ga here over him? Granted ungar has more collegiate history but Parkins didnt light the world on fire last year.
We’ve seen Parkins first hand, we haven’t really seen the other guys day in and day out. It’s basically an average commodity vs a mystery box.
