This is hilarious. Listen to this moron and tell me billionaires shouldn’t pay more taxes. He didn’t become the world’s richest man because he’s smart, but instead lucky.
He is good at making himself money. His companies don’t make money, though the stock doesn’t reflect that.He is good at making money. Often at the expense of dupes.
Point taken. He is good at making himself money. His companies don’t make money, though the stock doesn’t reflect that.
I'm not sure I'm buying what you are selling OP. I don't know Musk and certainly don't like a lot of things he does. But he wasn't born the richest man in the world. He got there somehow. I'll let you guys argue why. But I doubt it's because he's stupid.
Didn't say he was rags to riches. The man was born with a silver spoon in his mouth to say the least. All he had to to do was not be really, really stupid with his money and he'd be able to live a lifestyle we can only dream of. But he didn't. Instead he became the richest man in the would. I doubt he got there by being stupid. He was born in apartheid South Africa as a lowly emerald mine heir. From rags to riches.

Look at any casino magnate. He is good at making money. Often at the expense of dupes.

I feel you man. I'm no fan of Musk's. Just saying he isn't stupid. For example he now has Social Security and IRS data on EVERY AMERICAN and he only paid $280 million for it.It's a mixed bag. So he started x.com and merged with a company which became PayPal, but he was forced out of PayPal because he was a spaz but because he had shares he made hundred of millions of dollars. Then you also have stuff like his Tesla stock being completely detached from reality and is just a massively overvalued speculation stock.
It was pretty smart of him to buy so much government access that he was given control of a fake government department that he used to kill the government entities that were investigating him for fraud and such.
I think you can make an argument for all of those things. He certainly seems to have the ego and ethos of a cartoon Supervillion. You're probably right, and pedantic, that 'idiot' or 'stupid' is not the most accurate terminology, but what would you call a man that seems to consistently and purposely misrepresent his expertise level on various subjects that are integral to his businesses?
He doesn't have to be that way as many successful CEOs have shown, yet chooses often to lash out when even slightly criticized. Maybe 'fragile'?

From what I've read Musk grew up in an upper middle class home and there is no evidence that he is an emerald mine heir.He was born in apartheid South Africa as a lowly emerald mine heir. From rags to riches.

How has he used his money against the American people other than to support a candidate you dislike? I'm all for getting big money out of politics but if you oppose Musk you should equally oppose Soros, Bloomberg, Steyer, Hoffman, etc.Look at any casino magnate.
And that money is being used against the American people to influence American Policy.
I was referring to a casino magnate. That husband and wife team has given Trump over 350m KNOWN dollars. How has he used his money against the American people other than to support a candidate you dislike? It seems to me that democrats have contributed much more to Musk's wealth than republicans. $7,500 per vehicle tax credits, carbon credit schemes in 9 states, regulations and laws promoting EVs over ICE vehicles, etc.

Democrats had many more Billionaires donate to Kamala than Republican billionaires donated to Trump.I was referring to a casino magnate. That husband and wife team has given Trump over 350m KNOWN dollars.
“According to federal records, from 2010 through 2020, Adelson and his wife donated more than $500 million to Republican Party campaigns and super PACs”
It’s not a side. It’s a targeted donation for American foreign policy.Democrats had many more Billionaires donate to Kamala than Republican billionaires donated to Trump.
We all agree get the big money out. But pointing out one side is useless.
Swallwell, Menendez (in prison) are a couple that come to mind without searching. I don't think foreign influence is a one party thing either. It’s not a side. It’s a targeted donation for American foreign policy.
When there are very specific outcomes driven by this money, it matters a ton.
The Dem clown show…… they just enrich themselves. At least it stays in the US unless you got examples of foreign influence beyond Hunter Biden.
Menendez is a great example of taking DIRECT PAYMENTS instead of PAC money. He’s an idiot and a scumbag.Swallwell, Menendez (in prison) are a couple that come to mind without searching. I don't think foreign influence is a one party thing either.
I'm on your side on this issue. I'd prefer to have the big money out. But i refuse to pretend it's a one side issue.
OK but my point remains. I'd like to take a lot of money out of political campaigns ON BOTH SIDES.I was referring to a casino magnate. That husband and wife team has given Trump over 350m KNOWN dollars.
“According to federal records, from 2010 through 2020, Adelson and his wife donated more than $500 million to Republican Party campaigns and super PACs”
Democrat donors want nothing in return? How many of those donors got a special office created for them to pick and choose how congressionally approved funding is allocated while siphoning information that used to be understood to be proprietary?
Your attempt at creating a false dichotomy in order to justify the new normal is noted.
OK but my point remains. I'd like to take a lot of money out of political campaigns ON BOTH SIDES.
Democrat donors want nothing in return?
Look up Erroll Musk's net worthThey had multiple houses and a yacht. Source, his mother. They also had a Rolls Royce for their family car. That's some fairly affluent upper middle class.
Look up Erroll Musk's net worth
Donations with no SPECIFIC expectations? fineOK but my point remains. I'd like to take a lot of money out of political campaigns ON BOTH SIDES.
Only one party has candidates that would walk back Citizen's United.
Maybe both sides don't apply great in this situation because the sides are actually people who want to take political bribes and the ones that don't.
Whenever he needs more money, he has everyone else dig more emeralds. What a brilliant autistic druggy he is, indeed.Didn't say he was rags to riches.
