Solid shot, good little floater and mid range game, decent passer. Below the rim, needs to keep ratcheting up a fair but not spectacular handle. Head seems screwed on right, I think by the end of the year he might be up for more of the true back up role.

If we need mins against Tennessee Tech, heā€™ll be fine. If we need mins against actual Tennessee, thatā€™s a far different story.

He will have his chance to prove it for sure and I hope he surprises me. In my opinion Travis is three times better than Mason. To me anyway. Glad heā€™s on the team because we definitely need bodies, and Iā€™m pulling for all these young men, I just try to be realistic about what I see. I hope youā€™re right and heā€™s solid out of the gate, that would make everyone feel better about our backups. Thanks for the reply.

No, I was never talking about Kam and never edited anything. Talking about Mason. I even quoted a post about four star freshman and his name. You may have thought I was but no.

He has no expectation of playing, but said he wants to do whatever is asked of him to help the team in practice.
I think the Williams kid will get minutes here and there to spell another guard. He may be an occasional surprise. His NBA daddy will be working with him I'm sure.

Yeah Williams has one of the best teachers he could have. Heā€™s going to improve a lot this season for sure and Iā€™m hoping he sticks around so we get to see his payoff. I hope they both work their butts off and have a great year.

I know for a fact you said ā€œ( ) Williamsā€ at the beginning of your post. Wether it said mason or kam idk but it no longer says Williams so I know you edited it.

Looking at the roster right now, without any more additions, it appears Pope has a better team on paper than last year, but it isn't saying much.

What is also apparent ?

More than one player is really going to have to elevate his game and play at an elite level for us next year. Night in, night out. Who can - or will - it be ?

Can Diallo and Wilkins lead this team to be better than the sum of it's parts? I think we are going to like them both, but we shall see.

Can we still get a premiere portal player to join the team ? Everyone would like Momcilovic to come in, he would be a perfect pickup for the roster at this stage.

Will Coach Pope show his own improvement on the sidelines coaching the team, and can he get the most out of it?

We simply will not know until the season starts.
