I absolutely do not care about volleyball, either.

Nor should youhope you're sitting down - I also don't give a f*ck about girls basketball
Dylan never showed it. This article is nothing but garbage, you get coach rhule a real game changer like the softball team with jordy, Rhule will win lots of games
Please, no! HaThat softball coach has been at NU for like 30 plus years. So, Rhule should get 30 plus years then?
So I see your against women’s sports tooNor should you.
Please, no! Ha
So I see your against women’s sports too
That is totally how the Rhulers think! Why not? Since Fred had one okay season (and it was just okay) in basketball and some old lady has an occasional one in softball, then all you have to do is give our head football coach all the time in the world and he too will eventually stumble into one okay season. Makes all the sense in the world.
People are acting like coaches are lying when praising Raiola and dissing Nebraska for his departure. But they are just echoing what they are telling recruits. And the recruits are inclined to believe it. Why didn’t a 5 star QB develop better and decide to leave so that he can? How many Nebraska players get drafted? These are easy questions to plant doubt on the recruiting trail.I think these are legit quotes - the Raiola comments are just wrong IMO.
I might be gullible to believe coaches said these things - but geez, if this rag is going full Penthouse Forum and making up stories - the stories would be a lot more exciting than this snoozer.
Well no $&it Einstein. Not giving a sh*t about something is not the same thing as being against something.
Good lord you sound like a teenage girl.
A lot of excuses when it’s easy to look at Rhules records and see that he is an average to below average coachReally Macho Man? He coked on a number of throws that could have won games. Emmett Carried the team last year, without him we lose many more games. DR got hurt before the schedule got tough, then the Problem was, that we had no one behind him that was a serviceable QB.
This is so true.I judge women in sports (and therefore women's sports in general) by their sex appeal. Period
1. Is she sexy
2. See #1
This is so true.
Same goes for women that act. No one is like "That Kathy Bates sure does get me hard" even though she is one of the best female actors of all time. But Sydney Sweeney will make more money than Bates will have made in her entire career, just in this year alone.
Of course now we have to get ready for the "I don't get what the big deal is about Sydney Sweeney is...my wife is hotter than her" posts.
It's because the B1G hates us...or so I've been told. The quotes about the other Big 10 teams were mostly positive. So, you think they just picked bad ones for Nebraska for some reason?
I find it interesting how some of these coaches that had average success and now they are kicking *** get a pass for be average for a number of years but the football coach has different standards, look I don’t love coach Rhule but I don’t hate him like a number of posters, if he fails then fire his ***. If he turns the corner and starts winning 9-11 games a year then get behind the team or become a Iowa fanSo I see your against women’s sports too

Really you're going to use Fred and Rhonda for example’s to use for the football program. That's all well and good, but the question is, how long does he get? 7 years like Fred, right? Or is it 30 years like Rhonda now?
Really you're going to use Fred and Rhonda for example’s to use for the football program.
Good Grief.
If you're a BIG10 coach and truly think Rhule sucks, wouldn't you want him to stick around at Nebraska as long as possible?I mean...coaches love to stick up for each other but when they know their name is not on the line...they will be just as catty and bitchy as we are here, posting under fake names.
So there are only two things that happened here...
1. They are making up the "sources" and just doing fake quotes (Totally possible)
2. They did get quotes from other coaches and that is really what they said (Totally possible)
They’re not that smart. If you're a BIG10 coach and truly think Rhule sucks, wouldn't you want him to stick around at Nebraska as long as possible?
Why **** talk him when you could just lie and say he's doing a great job, the situation he walked into was super tough and he's so close to turning things around. He just needs a bit more time.
Help the man keep his job so you can continue to kick his *** and help yourself.
WTF. He had a 72% completion percentage, a 3/1 TD/INT ratio, and was looking to have the best passing season in Nebraska history. Talk about living in denial. He was a true top 5 talent who went to a school that was completely incapable to develop his talents, and even then he was by far the best player on the field. Teenagers aren't supposed to come to a school that has 12 million tied up in coach salaries and do everything on their own, he was supposed to be developed, and if he wasn't you can't blame the teenager when the grown men are raking in millions to do nothing.Dylan never showed it. This article is nothing but garbage, you get coach rhule a real game changer like the softball team with jordy, Rhule will win lots of games
I totally get that but I would not really say any of those quotes were all that bad.If you're a BIG10 coach and truly think Rhule sucks, wouldn't you want him to stick around at Nebraska as long as possible?

This was like when T-Mart was voted offensive players of the year in the conference and our fans still **** on him.WTF. I kind of wish we could have local or state funded NIL so the government could take over when things go as badly as they are...like have a referendum on the coaching staff on the next ballot. If fans are funding the program, they should have a say in its decisions.
If he finishes the season he likely has 24-26 TDs and 3000 yards passing, as a true sophomore. No qb is a good fit for the situation in Nebraska...Rhule burned through so many qbs in his first year, they all progressively got worse. Dylan had two OCs in two years, no protection, and a lot of turnover at WR and still played well. The answer (as usual) is in the middle.
Raiola is a quality quarterback and could definitely flourish with a better OL and WR's. He was not terrible like some believe.
But the 72% completion percentage? I laugh because I knew this would be brought up every time he dink and dunked his way to that percentage. He was the master of the 4 yard dump pass, the 6 yard easy pass. I will never prove it nor try to - but he sure looked like a "safety first, pad the stats" guy on many occasions. Is that true? Shrug. No idea, but that was just my gut. I was like "Dude, USE that arm of yours." I was so pumped to get him in that December and I have no ill will toward him. But he did not play like a true 5-star top QB in the nation IMO.
Anyway - most agree he wasn't a great fit. And his Uncle was the #1 culprit in stunting his growth.
He was an above average B1G passer. Dan Marino would smoke him in the 40, and Marino is 64. There were times when he just wouldn't pull the trigger. A LOT of yards were left on the field. The answer (as usual) is in the middle.

I agree with you , Rhule is not a good coach.A lot of excuses when it’s easy to look at Rhules records and see that he is an average to below average coach![]()
No. I think Raiola set the offense back. We will probably never have the tackles to protect a qb who's 40 is measured with a sun dial. We need our qb to be an actual threat to move out of the pocket. He was pretty good within 20 yards.Correct. Rhule is not the guy we need and letting Riaola go is a clusterf**k of a disaster!!!
You think Dylan is legit? He had Emmet in the backfield and still struggled.easily the funniest thing I'll read all day
I don't want our QB's having to run. I think Dana could have helped out Dylan rather than having him run for life.No. I think Raiola set the offense back. In quite a few cases, Dylan needed to help himself by hitting wide open receivers on the deep balls.I don't want our QB's having to run. I think Dana could have helped out Dylan rather than having him run for life.
You'll see how average our offense will be this year.
Average sounds fantastic compared to what they have been under Rhule!I don't want our QB's having to run. I think Dana could have helped out Dylan rather than having him run for life.
