We might have plenty of guards in terms of quantity but I see zero reserve guards who should see the floor for Kentucky - the freshmen (especially Williams) can be, just not yet.
Assuming you don’t count Hawthorne or Kam at the 2, we only have 3 playable guards on the roster. I don’t count on expecting anything from a sub top 100 ish recruit in Mason Williams, though he could obviously surprise.
Not sure if this guy is the answer but Pope needs some sort of guard answer. It’s either moving Kam/Hawthorne to the 2 and getting Milan or getting a playable guard like this kid(maybe?), Hampton, other euros, etc

I can’t wait until mid March.
How would this guy be eligible if he already played in the NCAA and left for a pro opportunity? That was what the NCAA insisted was a red line in the Charles Bediako case and made him different than all the other players being recruited from varying pro leagues. Are we just going to end up in a place where there are no eligibility rules if you’re European?
Looks like he has great form and the ability to get shots off fast. Could be a great depth piece for the team.
I see all these foreign players supposedly Kentucky is recruiting but not one that is pulling the trigger. The guy from France, Russia, we lost the one where Pope personally visited in Israel, now this one and I seem to recall yet another. All seems like B.S.

No, I don't think the composite #140 recruit should see the floor outside of spot minutes as a true freshman. I specifically called him out as the guy who can be a contributor, just not yet.

Numbers aren’t bad, his year at UGA he shot 44.4% from 3 on low volume. If he’s coming in I feel it would be as the backup pg (his natural position at 6’3-6’4)

I think there’s something to be said for his Jackson St commitment holding him back in the rankings some. I don’t think he’ll be worse than Travis Perry for instance.
