What’s flying under the radar for now is that Castle & Harper are going to be All-NBA level players. Castle’s rebounding is phenomenal. Harper is a rookie and plays like a veteran. The Spurs have a big 3 already, and all on rookie deals.

Harper did some dumb young stuff, especially towards the end of the game, but he was an absolute stud for 90% of the game, and often made up for the dumb mistakes with a steal or rebound or whatever.

Wemby was obviously impressive and is a generational talent, blah blah blah.
I thought Harper playing tough D and directing the offense so well was equally important in them getting the win. He had his way against the OKC defense for much of the game.

I think most people's main complaint with OKC is the ridiculous foul-baiting. They're an uber-talented, very competitive group, but they play the most unentertaining brand of basketball in YEARS. Nobody wants to watch 40+ FTs a game

Everybody needs to get used to the Spurs winning championships. They are going to be better next year.

Yeah I feel a little gross cheering for this monster. I'm an admitted Thunder hater so that takes precedence in this series, but that San Antonio young core is going to be disgusting for a while and everyone will learn to hate it soon - just like OKC.

Dallas winning the 2025 lottery completely overshadowed the Spurs sneaking in at 2 and adding Harper to an already loaded core. Just ridiculous lottery luck

The Cavs were up 22 with 8 minutes left and lost. New York closed the game on a 44-11 run.

I don’t want to root for the spurs but I can’t stand the other teams left in it. Cleveland goes through lazy stretches…James Harden effect …and NY has dumb azz Anthony Towns …who is sure as shat getting 2 fouls in the 1st qrt
