With Iowa replacing the floor I'm sure they'll sell sections of the floor. The section with the 22 logo should be presented to Caitlin. That is her piece of history. Just my thoughts.

Yeah Connor doesn't like that his dad got fired--even though it was reasonable to fire him. You know what-that is understandable and ok! I bet everyone hopes their kids looks up to them and love them that much.

Some of you all sound like you don't want one of the greatest Hawkeyes we've had to get to be happy in her personal life. And it's creepy and weird and wrong.

She doesn't owe anything to Iowa men's basketball.

She appears to have a good relationship with Iowa women's basketball, but some subset of toxic Iowa mbb fans seem like they want to ruin that with all kinds of comments like this all over social media.

I think it’s a good thing keeping the 22 logo for Clark. As to your opinion on her siding with the McCaffery family I have heard no statement from her she is. Dating Connor yes. Is that a fact somewhere I missed or is just everyone’s opinion?

That would seemingly guarantee that no one ever sees it again. I haven't been there in a couple of years. Is there a big Clark display? It would seem as though it might make the building relevant.

When Clark left there was clamor for a statue. Most sports statues, while earned, are dopey looking. I would be fine if they do nothing more than the floor logo. Understated, but cool. Could they cut out the original piece and insert it in the new court?

Got us as close to a natty as we probably will be in my life time for a major sport.

It is awfully early in Ben's coaching career at Iowa to say last year is probably as close as we'll get to a national championship. I look for bigger things as he builds towards the future.

That said, the ball needs to bounce in your favor to get to a final four. Hope it continues to bounce our way.

Ben took an undersized team of mostly mid-major players to within a few minutes of the Final Four. Along the way he beat the defending national champions and #1 seeded Florida Gators in a virtual home game for them.

Ben didn't come to Iowa City to tread water or make excuses. He came to win Big Ten and national titles, similar to what he did at NW Missouri State. And I believe that's exactly what he's going to do, and sooner rather than later.

If the university is going to hang onto the "22 section". Put it in the display case in CHA. Many more eyes on it before/after games than the HOF building.

I'd assume they'll put a new 22 logo on the new court? The distance of that record setting shot gets a LOT of attention from opposing teams and our recruits. Fun to attempt that shot when on the floor.
