Another trollBasically a band geek
Same old deranged troll 🧌Same ol noci
It’s not shocking. He doesn’t move all that well. I think he will be a solid college player but he’s never been an elite athlete.in athletic testing at the combine.
Why do we want him back if he doesn’t have a motor? With the eye test he looks like a guy with no motor.
Another? It’s the same POS.Same ol noci
Those kids with motors are now far and few in-between these days. I wish we could get 40 chuck hayes and 40 MKG's that can shoot, and rebound lolWith the eye test he looks like a guy with no motor.
Malachi Moreno will not be making any decisions based on an article from NBAdraft.netThis article actually helps UK, hopefully MM understands that he needs strength, power and speed to impress the scouts. I hope Big Frank roughs up MM in practice and gets him to play with power and anger. We need MM to be a monster in the middle. IMO
No one from NBA draft.net did the testing.Malachi Moreno will not be making any decisions based on an article from NBAdraft.net

Agree DC. We have to hope he comes back and then we have to hope he progresses. To me though it’s not just him. The success (or lack there of) is dependent on several guys taking a step forward. There really aren’t any proven players on this team.moreno coming back is critical to next season but thats just part of the equation. he really needs to improve athletically in all areas. everyone talks about his shooting and offense, but the lat 15 games in SEC play he was mostly MIA. just outclassed physically and in a majority of games was a total non factor.
It's an opinionated think piece from a non reputable websiteNo one from NBA draft.net did the testing.
They just reported the facts.

Imagine having a Winston Bennett playing for you today or a James Lee.Those kids with motors are now far and few in-between these days. I wish we could get 40 chuck hayes and 40 MKG's that can shoot, and rebound lol

its why next year is hard to get excited about. in order for it to live up to our expectations we would need several players to make very large strides towards their optimal ceiling. that seems like a very tall ask.Agree DC. They all take a step forward then this team could surprise us. None of them do, well….
One could argue that Diallo and Wilkins are but imo both need to take a step forward to compete/win against the top of the sec.
The system fit SHOULD be there w 30% assist rates.Agree DC. We have to hope he comes back and then we have to hope he progresses. To me though it’s not just him. The success (or lack there of) is dependent on several guys taking a step forward. There really aren’t any proven players on this team.

The article called him a loser which is the opinion of a guy that has zero credibility to anyone who matters in the NBA. Just because you read something in an article doesn’t make it credible. No one from NBA draft.net did the testing.

Probably because it’s true. Nothing really stands out about him. I think he will be good but if he thinks he is NBA ready, he will get cooked and I hope he’s familiar with the GLeague. I miss when they called it the Dleague cause that’s what it is.in athletic testing at the combine.

Larry was a really underrated athlete. He was 6'10" with really quick feet and hands and great agility. There are plenty of Youtube videos of him posterizing seven footers on dunks, making reverse dunks with ease, making guys Dominique Wilkins look slow and clumsy with his foot quickness. For a 6'10" guy he was an above average jumper and runner(before his body started breaking down) and was off the charts in quickness of feet and hands, agility, hand eye coordination etc.Larry Bird was never an elite athlete, and one of the all time greats. I think what you have upstairs makes a huge difference in what you do with what you were given. Most aren't lucky enough to get both. But Moreno has a ways to go, but he will get there with his smarts. Garrison is an example of just the opposite. And I think Moreno goes a lot further then Garrison, who has an NBA ability athletically, but can't focus for long.

I'd say the vertical jump, where Bird was just a little above average for his size, is the only area of athleticism where Bird was not elite. He had the quickest feet and hands and best agility I've ever seen in someone his size. Also, he had the throwing arm of a MLB pitcher or NFL quarterback. But he was not an elite athlete, smart's with great fundamentals and pure shooter, but was not what I would call elite athlete, like Dominique. Bird wasn't putting his head over the rim, or entering any dunking contest, that I can remember.
