I believe he could have if I remember correctly. I do not believe Campbell forced anyone to leave. Looked good in brief action in the bowl game as well. Hope he does well. Deserved to land at a higher level of ball.
Life can sometimes be a reality beotch and slap you upside the head. He'll probably light up the western Iowa community college league and go on to join the roster at Iowa.

What did the 6th string RB lose? Is he going to play less?
Our 38 incoming transfers all found a new home. All 48 outgoing transfers found D1 homes.
Most kids in the portal - still - are being processed/cut, and not "shopping for a better deal"
Used to be 90% or more were kids being processed, and maybe 10% actually shopping their wares.
Certainly more than 10% now, that are selling themselves -= but still more being cut loose than anything else.

When I see a community college I think it’s grades. I could be 1000% wrong. He seemed talented enough to land at a mid/major program, perhaps the MAC.
Hell of a good high school running back, hope he can get back to being a contributor somewhere

It’s interesting to see this thread come back to life. Yeah, I then read elsewhere that he came clean to Campbell regarding something negative and he was told to pack his bags. He is certainly talented enough to play at the FBS level, but whatever he did got him banished to this level of football.
In the NIL era, Anything negative is going to get most 6th string players banished.

While true in general, it seemed like there was more to the story than that.
Tough lesson to learn--there's actually consequences to their actions after being handed everything because they were elite at football growing up
Hopefully, he gets it together and finds his way back to FBS football--or at least, to a good life outside the game
I was playing poker with one of his old Aliquippa coaches like a month and half ago. He said Tikey was always the man at Aliquippa and had trouble adjusting at Penn State. He said he got into very very minor trouble nothing to transfer over though. Also, the people saying grades when is the last time a player these days couldn’t get in or stay because of his grades.

Clearly, if it was "very minor" he wouldn't be at a Community College....right?

Unlike the players we are not getting paid.
Anyone who is 6th string at any position on any bad team needs to be gone.

I’m just saying what I was told. Penn State was also paying Tikeys mom on the side supposedly. I thought the whole situation was odd especially since he’s related to Terry Smith. He’s a good RB
If he was a good RB with having only done something minor he wouldn't be at a community college right now. Best of luck to him.
Sounded like more mental issues than anything. Like I said he was supposedly having a hard time adjusting at Penn State and hit the portal last minute.
Fair enough...I'm just saying a talented kid with no real issues isn't going from Penn State to a Community College...maybe worst case he goes to a PSAC school.
