Fantastic speech, but as usual in the NY Post comments, a few people already started wagging their little fingers at the "other" people. People need to just stop that already.

Down in New Orleans at the moment, and stood in line for over an hour waiting to get into a club to see 3 metal bands. Struck.up conversations with 3 different folks from Louisiana,.and the subject of politics did not come up onxe, even after I told them we were from Joisey. Just talking about music, life experience,.and all the great bands we saw and places we have been to see them. One fella and jis adult son wer huge LSU fans, and we had a laugh over Brian Kelly and chatted about SEC and B1G football. We had nothing else in common, but I 5 minutes we were talking like we were old buddies.

Find things that bring us together. Ignore the noise on social media and news channels that is designed to make people upset.

I don't like country music, but I sure would like to sit down with Eric Church and talk about life.

Almost 70% of comment sections of viral posts are bots or AI agents in attempts to generate engagement by saying things that piss people off.... Excellent speech

@Postman_1 I know you’re a big fan of his as well, but as someone that’s seen Chief 20+ times live, it’s no surprise this caught on like wildfire.

You can hear this same message in his music if you listen hard enough, he’s always been a champion of individuality and bucking the status quo.

**Fun Fact: early in Eric’s career he was kicked off tour by Rascal Flatts for playing too loud, too long, going to spots in the stage openers aren’t supposed to go, etc. He was warned several times, the last straw was a show in NYC at MSG where he played 30 minutes longer than he was supposed to.

Eric was kicked off tour immediately after walking off stage and ended up following Rascal Flatts around and playing at local dive bars instead. He called his tour the “me and myself tour” to play off Rascal Flatt’s “me and my gang tour.” The artist who replaced Eric’s spot for the remaining rascal Flatts dates? A young up and comer, Taylor Swift.

To that point, if you’re just an enjoyer of entertainment, you cannot miss Eric Church at MSG.

Regardless of your music taste, every time he plays at the Garden I’ve been amazed. His ability to have the crowd on a string is remarkable.

20+ times nice! You got me beat. I’ve seen him 7 times I think. Most recently was in Boston in September. It was different then his past venues because of the all the instruments. I enjoyed it but like his old stuff more personally. Oh yeah I definitely pick up what he said in his songs.

I sat front row for this concert and loved it. He came down and shook my hand during Springsteen. I’m hoping he plays there again, it was awesome. I need to go to another concert.
Im actually listening to him right now out back enjoying a cigar. Perfect day to be outdoors

I saw him in Nashville last year for the opening of the tour, it was fantastic. Saw him a couple months after that in Brooklyn and it was probably one of his worst shows I’ve seen.

I think his shows now are dependent on the crowd/venue. Any other weekend and I’d be making the trip out to Denver for his Red Rocks shows coming up.

Red Rocks is special. Under the stage is a an area where all the artists that have ever played there sign the walls and beams. I spent an hour looking at them all. Next time I went I was sure to ring my own sharpie ;)
