Why is this board so hateful and anti UK

But don't get your jockstraps in a wad before recruiting is OVER/ and don't believe every idiot on this board. Many are not UK fans.

Agree 100%.

It’s MAY. Anyone who actually understands basketball can see we’re one or two dudes away from an elite roster. The PG problem is fixed, the Senegal kid is real, and Williams/Hawthorne raise the floor. We still need a starting 4/5 and a Dude…that’s TWO players. Recruiting isn’t over. Tearing the program down now is counterproductive and just gives rival coaches ammo. Let Pope finish the roster before you set your hair on fire!

This team is not better on paper. They might end up having a better season, but this team is not better on paper.
Take a bottle of blue kool-aid down and pass it around. 99 bottles of blue kool-aid on the wall. Take one down and pass it around, 98 bottles of blue kool-aid on the wall....

This year’s team is better on paper for a few reasons
1. 5 returners including 2 RedShirts - All a year older & stronger
2. 3 point guards with 120 starts between them plus experience
3. No Ball hogs
4. 2 power forwards who can score
5. 2 back up Centers who will push for PT.
6. Hawthorne - Taller & stronger
7. Enough depth to not lose momentum in case of foul or injury issues

Yea until Cal won a sec championship. If we can't win the big one I'll take a sec championship all day long at least. Some kind of trophy. But other than this last sec tournament they are pretty much the same.

And so far in the NCAA tournament, Pope won:

50% of the games needed to make one (2025)
25% of the games needed to make one (2026)

I don’t think he has to make one yet, but i do think winning 75% of the games needed to make one would keep him here. Elite Eight.

I've tried to be respectful but it's for no use. Have good conversations for what?

So I'll just stick to my old style and say forget it respect. So simply ... Pope sucks. Bad . Like really bad. Like UK is EMBERRASING.

That's the truth. Unless ninth seeds in the SEC tournament are what BBN is going to accept moving forward.
