I Trust BOC to get this straightened out. i don’t keep up with recruiting anymore but from things I have read we have a pretty high rating with guys we signed so far.

Yes. It will be interesting to see what we do in the portal & recruiting this offseason. He sees & knows what we need better than we do.

We don’t really know how well McPherson would have done against the SEC teams we faced after his injury, but I’m more concerned how they handled it. Forearm strain that went from 2-4 weeks out to almost 8 weeks out. That was some bad prognosis and poorly managed health care if it was only a forearm sprain that took double the expected time to heal. And it very much affected the entire season and is still affecting into the post season. It was some bad mojo that keeps affecting this team.
The number of times our batters struck out over the last 3 weeks was alarming. Some really bad approaches. And then the defense the past two weekends along with all the free bases just compounded the struggles during the last 1/3 of the season .
New season starts Wednesday! Wet the bed against the bears after dominating them and State might just get that Regional Road Trip. I just don’t think a Host is a lock yet.

We finished dead center cut of the SEC, middle of the pack, average at best .

I gave a C and I think thats generous. We lost to every SEC team that we played that finished in the top half of the conference. Start of the year we thought we potentially had an elite team but we have nothing close to that.
