I’d go b as well. They showed a stat last night that there have been like 5 first year coach national seeds ever. We were likely 1 win away from being the 6th. But the goal of hosting was met. Nothing that has happened to this point matters from here on out but we got our host which we have only done twice in the last decade.
Definitely a C.
Highest paid coaching staff in the country just limped to a bottom half league finish.
Top 3 paid roster in the country couldn’t finish top 8 in its own conference.
This team should be a top 5-7 seed and hosting a regional.
Missed massively on several portal adds… namely, Teel, Woodson, and all catchers. Reese and Sullivan were below last year’s production for much of the year. Justin Parker deserves a pay cut for the lack of development from the pitching staff.
An early exit next week will put us on the hosting bubble. 4-6 in SEC series is an abomination with this roster.
It needs to get fixed with this level of investment.

I said C. You kinda did the bare minimum given our roster and schedule. And lost 5 of 7 series to end the season.
It’s O’Connor so I’m not ruling out this team getting hot in the postseason. But it wouldn’t be based off what they showed in the regular season. This team in the regular season failed repeatedly to beat other good teams over the course of a weekend. The lone exception is the weird hex we have on Mike Bianco for whatever reason.

B. Without McPherson's injury we might be getting an A but we'll never know. O'Connor got us hosting in year one so it's a definite improvement, just seems a little anticlimactic after the start and hype.
Funny thing is , we’re only 1 game less than I predicted. But the way we’ve done it is very different. I figured we’d start slow & finish strong. Instead we started pretty good & got worse as the season went on. We’re really limping into postseason.
I don’t want to totally brush us going undefeated against bad teams under the rug, because that’s definitely not nothing.
But having a losing SEC record at home and not being able to beat a good team in a series once the calendar turned to April, that’s tough to swallow.

It's a "C" from me. Going 3-6 in the last 3 conference weekends doesn't warrant a "B", especially when we blew several of them
I am in the B/B- range. I think this is about right for BOC’s first year. He now knows more what he needs going into year 2.
It’s like Mullen coached this team. Beat everyone they should’ve, lost to everyone they should’ve, and beat OM
But with all that said and with our ace out for two months we were a game or two away from being right there. BOC can’t control injuries and we were still damn close to a national seed.
That's were I am... It never occurred to me that some people might actually think the 2026 regular season rated above a C.
2018 football and 2019 and 2025 basketball came to mind for me. Teams that on paper no one would ever accuse of being bad, but you felt like meat was left on the bone.
That said, Oak’s postseason legacy suggests our best maybe could be yet to come. But they’re gonna have to figure some stuff out pretty quick.

I disagree with the A offense rating. Our numbers look good on paper. What doesn’t look good is timely hitting. That was a d minus.
