But Nebraska was behind Georgia at the beginning of the day and ended up 2 spots ahead of them. Which tells you it's not about their games, it's about what other teams on their respective schedules did.

Team averaging 8.5 runs a game shut out by 2 guys with 5+ ERAs. It's a weird sport sometimes.
DSR now has UNC at #1 with UCLA’s loss, so definitely pulling for seeding closer to DSR than RPI
With games on the field Tennessee punched their ticket with a 14 SEC win. Coastal Carolina lost again and is starting to look like a 2 seed.
Would you agree with me that I would like to avoid CCU as a #2 seed in our regional?
I mean..maybe in the polls..but we aren’t jumping UCLA in RPI unless we win out (and they lose the Washington series and lose early in the B10 tourney. They had almost lapped the field.

Yes i would like avoid Coastal as the 2 seed but they lost again today so they are definitely a 2 seed and dropping to the range we could get them . GT just totally destroyed BC , Florida swept LSU and Michigan was swept by Ohio State so Michigan is cooked as the kids at school would say .
The BIG is doing something crazy with there tourney. The first four teams get a double bye and seeds 5 through 12 are in two separate four team brackets that play double elimination tournament. If you go 2 and 0 you advance to the single elimination round. The two losers play and the winner of the that game plays the loser of the winner bracket game and that winner advances. It's crazy i know ! The teams that go two and 0 play the 3 and 4 seeds and the 1 and 2 seeds play the teams who went 2 and 1 . So UCLA will play a team that has already played 3 games in 3 days .
Actually if the ACC did this at least Cal and Stanford would get more than one for flying across the country

State's just not a tournament team without Dudan and Marohn when they're probably a top 30ish team (maybe higher) with them. They had to game the pitching rotation to get a single win against us.

Hard to watch dook play the woofies but I kind of enjoyed seeing this game play out! A real pitching duel!
