Just listened to Geep Wade interview with Hail Varsity/Hurrdat. I'm all in with this guy and think he'll get the o line fixed
Sometimes it's best to take a year off, evaluate, and learn. Especially in this day and age of multi year contracts and still get paidI hope he does well. On another note, Uncle Donnie is still unemployed... hmm, wonder why?
Oregon didn't want him? Lol.

I’m much more concerned with the DL than the OL.Just listened to Geep Wade interview with Hail Varsity/Hurrdat. I'm all in with this guy and think he'll get the o line fixed
I think the DL will be hell on wheels.I’m much more concerned with the DL than the OL.
Do you? Can you tell the rest of the class why you feel this way? It’s my biggest concern so I hope you can change my mindI think the DL will be hell on wheels.
Sorry, I thought I laid the sarcasm on thick enough.Do you? Can you tell the rest of the class why you feel this way? It’s my biggest concern so I hope you can change my mind
Haha! Can’t wait for Geep to have success here only for Rhule to run him out of town next year!
Why should he worry about taking a job right away. His severance package is good for this year.Sometimes it's best to take a year off, evaluate, and learn. Especially in this day and age of multi year contracts and still get paid
He was probably referring to what Rhule said about the DL before last season, which was complete BS.Do you? Can you tell the rest of the class why you feel this way? It’s my biggest concern so I hope you can change my mind
Why worry? If things don’t go well Rhule can step in and coach the DL.I’m much more concerned with the DL than the OL.
That would make me even more worried. Why worry? If things don’t go well Rhule can step in and coach the DL.
Legend.
We had a rb average almost 6 ypc, and run for 1500 yards. It can get WAYYYYYY worse.Bottom line … there is no possible way it could be worse.
That would make me even more worried.
Or when no one else has offered you a job. Because your resume just doesn’t instill confidence that you are competent at your job.Sometimes it's best to take a year off, evaluate, and learn. Especially in this day and age of multi year contracts and still get paid
Ehhhh, it is a coaching fraternity. There are unlimited CFB positions now and lower level CFB jobs and NFL jobs. It is probably a safer bet that he is just dicking around for a bit.Or when no one else has offered you a job. Because your resume just doesn’t instill confidence that you are competent at your job.
I’m very well aware how the fraternity works and how the average stay employed.Ehhhh, it is a coaching fraternity. There are unlimited CFB positions now and lower level CFB jobs and NFL jobs. It is probably a safer bet that he is just dicking around for a bit.
Fans (us) tend to think coaches suck and will never get hired again but those guys are all friends and look out for each other.
I appreciate you saying what I just said.I’m very well aware how the fraternity works and how the average stay employed.
However Riola had a very weak - beyond weak resume before frost and Rhule hired him and Riola did nothing to improve upon it.
Some younger guys do end up moving on if their network isnt huge or if they fail spectacularly. Guys with resume depth can find sanctuary - but to stay employed in football riola will have to take a much lower salaried analyst spot
McGuire was definitely a fraternity pay it forward hire- that we suffered through thanks to Rhule paying tribute to the fraternity
Hence my last sentenceWhy should he worry about taking a job right away. His severance package is good for this year.
The fraternity even has its own unemployment insurance program - aka, taking an analyst "job" until a real one opens up.Ehhhh, it is a coaching fraternity. Maybe the Rubicon, but seems we crossed that years ago....I suggest that our Rubicon was the abandonment of the running game and both lines.I thought you were talking about the Jeep Wave.
Benning said he talked to Riley Von Poppel and RVP said he's a lot more comfortable with the new dl coaches and his confidence has grown. Sounds like they have simplified things, working on basics/technique and then building on that. I got the impression that the d linemen understand what their doing for a change

Hope you've got the scoop scoopI have some insider knowledge on this but you guys have to promise to keep it here. Winter conditioning was the best we've had in a long time, guys working harder than ever before. New approach, better results.
Did we even have a D-line last year, hell most of the time it didn't look like we had linebackers either.Sorry, I thought I laid the sarcasm on thick enough.
Should be better than last year IMO though.
Like we havent heard this before.. let me guess, they are gonna shock the world. Blah, blah, blah.I have some insider knowledge on this but you guys have to promise to keep it here. He'll make it as far as Dylan will take him lol.Raiola will eventually get hired.
Doesn’t mean he doesn’t suck ***.
I'd like to know how many of his players played in the NFL."Wade is also a proven developer of offensive linemen. In 11 seasons as a full-time FBS offensive line coach, Wade has seen his linemen combine for 23 all-conference awards."
Hope this turns out to be true.
I think he had two drafted this year???I'd like to know how many of his players played in the NFL.
Don’t care. You shouldn’t either. Just show me improvementI'd like to know how many of his players played in the NFL.
