Ah, that makes sense, I guess. I'm usually listening via the app and not the SECN+ feed.
I think thats overblown. The real issue is we had use more pitchers & throw a lot more pitches than we should have.
Nah I don't think so. We beat the **** out of them and they know it was only because our CF was retarded that they didn't get run ruled. They have no pitching due to injury. It's nice to be on the other side for a change.

We're on the road against a team projected as a Top 8, who also happens to have one of the best offenses in the country.
You pitch whoever you have to to get the win and with the way that game was going we had to use our best. Moving on.

And then Bryce makes him look even worse closing the game on a great catch.

I'm wondering if he got used to being on the bench and wasn't expecting to play today. Maybe he got wasted last night and has a hangover or could've been on drugs today. He legitimately looked that bad out there
Bryce Chance must now step up as our position player leader. You don’t take him out of CF. You ride with this. I hate we had to use 2 of our good BP arms in a lopsided game, but that is what ****** play gets you. It cannot be accepted at this point of the season.
We simply can not relax against a team like AM , they are dangerous.

Agree, but the truth is that was the right move 90+% of the time. They were replacing Vytas, who is just a serviceable OFer. Put in a normally solid CF and replaced Vytas with a good OF in Bryce in left. It was the right move on paper and Oak often does that with his OFers late in games.
I'm aware that we could easily lose the next two, but damn does it feel good to not have to worry about the disastrous possibility of getting swept all weekend.

Pitzer threw 47. Webb threw 10. Davis threw 21. Pitzer may be done? But the other two can absolutely go again.
So Pitzer done for the series. Davis not available today. And Webb probably not available today either. All because Teal can’t catch a damn fly ball.
I don’t know. He didn’t send Teal back out for the 8th inning though. Why he ever put him in the game with Bryce Chance available is beyond me.

Thankfully Aggies burned a bunch of arms and their ace is hurt. Might be an opportunity to hang another crooked number or two tonight
MLB recommends 2 days rest if over 45. He could pitch a little Saturday in a pinch. But I really doubt he will. No reason to push it.
Edit. They also say Davis & Webb could pitch today. Still, I’d be very surprised to see Davis & a little surprised to see Webb.
