We need to win tonight. According to the state fans I know, this is their weakest pitcher. They’re throwing him because they don’t think they can beat Jason.
Yeah, not sure who to believe. A couple state gym buddies tell me they don’t have any decent pitchers after losing their top two pitchers earlier in the year. lol
That’s actually true. Their pitching staff isn’t great, which is why we need to win this series. I know they have a very powerful offense though, unfortunately.

Jason gets out of the two men jam, some hard contact but kept both men on first and second
I have this as a xmas ornament since I was in school. Love it!
I know Forbes loves being aggressive, but their bullpen is meh. I would love to see us be a little more patient at the plate and get his pitch count up.
I’d be worried if he wasn’t in the lineup, but Colin is more than serviceable back there. So the more rest he can get for that arm the better.
DeCaro seems to be settling, three Ks and a line drive through his second. 38 pitches for the righty
Forbes has spoken on it several times in postgames.....For Winslow - catching is tough, hitting is fine, good to have two catchers that aren't too far apart in skills behind the plate.
I agree. Just didn’t know if he had a little nick that the staff was being cautious with.
Forbes said that after he got nicked a few weeks ago he wanted to give him a break behind the plate.
