One of my favorite hawkeye memories in the past 25 years was the night game at PSU in 2009. PSU came out throwing deep passes, incredible white out crowd, etc. Then the Iowa defense turned it on and played like warrior poets.

1. Full disclosure: I'm a Cal grad, but my wife and two of my sons attended PSU. Both of my parents attended Iowa.
2. I have attended several PSU games, and traveled to and stayed in State College. I would have to take issue with your (and some of your fellow Iowa posters') characterization of PSU and its fans.
3. "Pedophile supporters?" First, the firing of Paterno and the NCAA sanctions stuff all went down back in 2011, when members of the current Nittany Lion football team were between 3 and 7 years old. As for older PSU alums, are you seriously maintaining that they were somehow in the know about Jerry Sandusky's activities, and conspired to cover it up? By all means post your evidence of that. You realize, don't you, that Sandusky left the employ of Penn State in 1999, YEARS before his predilections and activities became the subject of public scrutiny. There are people who still support Sandusky (both within and outside the PSU community), arguing that he had a ridiculously abbreviated criminal trial, etc., but those people are in a tiny minority. (My personal view is that they are crazy.) The vast bulk of PSU fans would prefer that Sandusky simply rot in a jail cell.
4. Have you expressed similar concerns about FAR more troubling pedophilia/sexual assault incidents at Ohio State, Michigan State, and USC, just to name a few schools? I don't know where your political affinities lie, but if you are a Trump supporter, anything you have to say concerning pedophilia would have to be taken with a ginormous grain of salt.
5. My experience posting on PSU websites suggests to me that Penn State fans regard Ohio State and Michigan as PSU's two chief rivals, and have little love for either school or its fans. But Iowa probably comes in right behind those two schools, even though there is not much of a history or rivalry between Penn State and Iowa. Rather, Penn State fans tend to view Iowa fans as the most virulent advocates of the "death penalty for Ped State" mantra and, from what I have seen here, they are probably correct in that assumption.
