Doesn’t seem like moreno is all that great on combine scores. I think he returns BUT momolivic stays in the draft. Hopefully no one has already give Moreno a guarantee based on potential

This offseason reminds me far too much of the the azz whippin UofL put on UK in Stokely back in 1983. Just outclassed across the board.

Ament is a handful. I could be wildly wrong on all counts but in my mind Ament is the last stud that Pope could have had if he’d been smart enough to go all in on him.

Or he goes all in on him and whiffs like he did with Stokes and we get left with nobody. Double edged sword to put all your chips in a dudes basket. If you lose out, you look like an idiot. If you don't go all in and get someone else, you look like an idiot for not taking the risk. Lose lose for Pope in that one, but mostly because that's our reality. If we had Cal, or prime Pitino, we'd have gotten Ament without HAVING to "go all in." He's going to be more of a star at the next level than Boozer, I bet. A 6'9+ small forward vs an undersized 6'8 PF.

This risk will be seen again and again.
It really needs to move to 2 year contracts in college, or more. That way the colleges know they're getting at least a year or more out of the athlete, but then the athletes will start finding ways to not play out of fear of getting injured. If changes aren't made soon, colleges may start recruiting players they DON'T think are good enough to make the NBA after a year. The needle is going to move.

Rumors were buzzing he was considering coming back- I heard them too. This is definitely good news in the Moreno tug of war.
Definitely, especially with Veesar announcing he’s staying in as well(would probably draft him over Moreno)

That was funny, but I am now not sure what “clutch win” means. Beating Duke, not a clutch win, even though he told his team in advance what Flagg was about to do. Comeback win against Zags? Not clutch. Wins over UT, UF, St J, Arky, Miss St, TAMU, Vandy …

I mean if UK played in the ACC, clutch wins would be few and far between because you rarely play a top 25 team. But, the definition evades me. Clearly.

Not surprising. Most guys listed at exactly 6 foot are actually in the 5’10”-ish range.

Nobody wants to admit to being under 6 feet. It’s like a scouting kiss of death.

I’ve always thought that was really dumb, though.

it isn’t like the truth isn’t going to come out…plus, you’d think the truth would actually be helpful because if you are abusing opponents at 5’10, it speaks even more to your skills or attributes like quickness, etc.
