“America deserved 9/11.” Is this the type of person a U.S. Senate candidate should be campaigning with?

Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has been campaigning with Hasan Piker, a controversial online streamer.

Piker, a 34-year-old streamer with 3.1 million followers on Twitch and 1.8 million on YouTube, has described himself as a “megaphone” for an angry electorate. He’s also been controversial among Democrats for some of his rhetoric, including comments that “Hamas is a thousand times better” than Israel, some Orthodox Jews are “inbred” and “America deserved 9/11.”

In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Piker was largely unapologetic for his past remarks but said some were poorly worded. He called the renewed focus on them “totally ridiculous, especially considering that there are far more consequential things happening in the world right now.”

A May 12 Michigan poll suggests Abdul El-Sayed has the lead in the race to be the Democratic nominee for the state's soon-to-be-open U.S. Senate seat.

Maga Fran would be the type of guy who gets triggered by Hasanabi

Oh, look at the MEGA dumb a.ss chiming in.

* Just because I (along 45% of U.S. adults) can't stand either party and identify as a political independent does not make me "MAGA."

* Me saying that Trump was & is unfit for office since 2015 does not suddenly make me "MAGA."

* You being ok with thinking that America deserved 9-11 says a lot and makes you a MEGA jacka.ss.

* It really is no surprise why a MEGA idiot like yourself can't understand why 45% of U.S. adults can't stand either party and how a guy like Donald Trump wins the presidency.

I am surprised you are impressed with anyone associated with a person who said "America deserved 9-11."

That's disgusting and an incredibly bad look.

Your framing is manipulative. You are saying that Hasan Piker saying something means that it speaks to Al-Sayed's character because Hasan campaigned for Al-Sayed, and by association my character for thinking some Al-Sayed interviews I heard were impressive.

There is a chance you may try to play this back to the CC and Morgan Wallen thing as well to make a claim of a double standard.

Also lost in the mix here is your clear double standard when it comes to the decisions of Democrats versus the decisions of republicans.

But yeah, you can call me disgusting, but I'm not trying to manipulate anything. I just said some of the interviews I listened to were impressive.

You know what is offensive? Other candidates taking money from the Israeli PACs that are for trying to buy candidates that will vote to keep arming Israel for their genocides. That's close to infinitely worse than being associated with a person that said a thing which in reality doesn't impact anything of importance.

I just find it disgusting that a U.S. Senate candidate is campaigning side by side with a guy who said "America deserved 9-11."

You, on the other hand, find that U.S. Senate candidate to be an "impressive guy."

Your words, not mine.

I listened to a couple interviews with Al-Sayed, impressive guy.
Abdul El-Sayed is campaigning with a guy who said "America deserved 9/11." And you still find El-Sayed to be impressive. Amazing.

That is correct, yes.

Ol' MEGA dumbass is back, projecting like always....

Interesting, too, that you have nothing to say regarding "America deserved 9-11."

You are a MEGA nut job; no wonder 45% of American adults identify as independent & can't stand your party.

Oh emotional Maga Fran. You say I lied and manipulated things but are unable to backup your claim. You are still triggered that I called you out for spreading fake news on HORT before it got locked down

And don't worry I'm in the 45% of Americans who can't stand the Democratic party. We are sick of them being Diet Maga.

Dr. Abdul and Hasan are a step in the right direction. Hopefully voters in Michigan do the right thing.

Fact check: true. It's a shame the left makes heroes out of champaign socialists like Hassan Piker but libs are gonna lib.

It's almost comical that the left will platform and celebrate this level of hypocrisy. Cartier on one hand and Lenin in the other certainly is a look 😂

Oh, look, the emotional MEGA dumba$$ who thinks it's a good look and a step in the right direction for a U.S. Senate candidate to be actively campaigning with a guy who said "America deserved 9-11" is back.

The September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,977 victims. Thousands more were injured, and many more have since died from illnesses related to the terrorist attacks.

How long have you been MEGA, dumba$$?

Actively campaigns with a guy who said:

* “America deserved 9/11.”

* “Hamas [a terrorist organizaiton] is a thousand times better” than Israel.

* Some Orthodox Jews are “inbred.”

But he's infinitely better than any other candidate, according to you.

Nice attempt at deflection. Sorry to get back on the topic, but here's a question for you, too:

Do you have any problem with a U.S. Senate candidate who is campaigning side by side with a guy who said "America deserved 9-11?"

Yes or no.

Assuming that is true (and your sources in the past have demonstrated varying degrees of accuracy, to put it kindly), I don’t agree with that statement and I would recommend he distance himself a bit from the influencer.
