I am glad he committed but unless he is 6'5" 310 and can block, it doesn't really matter.
I wish the kid all the best but we beat out Rutgers and Syracuse for his services.
To be fair, those were the other schools he narrowed it down to, for whatever reasons - the fact that he's from PA might have something to do with it. But he also had offers from "...Miami, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Florida State, and Wake Forest, among others." According to the article.
If that is correct, his "commitment" will fade if any other schools show interest over the next year.
