It is unbelievable to think about how 7x24x365 the PSU/NLWC coaches work.

Not only are they physically coaching in the room daily, but there is no downtime. We are 6 weeks out of nationals and coaches have to plan logistics and coach at US Open, U23/U20, National Team trials… probably had someone at PanAms w Levi…

… while recruiting, paying the bills via camps, etc. We are spoiled with this group. The greatest set of wrestling coaches in the country, and probably the world.

Nothing we can control, but a July or August World championship dates would work better for USA wrestlers that get dinged up b4 college folk style season starts.

With Senior World Team trials complete, what senior wrestlers can claim a U23 spot for finishing top 3?

57kg Luke Lilledahl if he loses Final X, otherwise Anthony Knox?
61kg Marcus Blaze if he loses Final X, otherwise Ben Davino (EDIT: Forrest would be ahead of Davino)
65kg
70kg Caleb Henson or Landon Robideau
74kg Jayden James (beat Sealey for true third)
79kg
86kg
92kg
97kg
125kg Coby Merrill?

Can James also claim the U20 spot? What about Blaze, he’s still only 19 right?

Looks like 79kg, 86kg, 92kg, 97kg are the only weights that cannot be bumped by a senior team placer.

Last year Penn State had Levi, Rocco, and Josh at those weights.

Henckel could be the favorite at 79kg to make the team.

EDIT … Levi is under 23 so I assume he could bump 79kg and is Sinclair able to bump 86kg? He finished 3rd at US Open.
