This might be a little tougher than Putin thought

There were several posters that were always contributing a lot to this thread. I can't remember their handles, though.

Well, to be honest, I don't care much for Ukraine one way or the other. They've got MUCH more in common with Russia than they do the US. BUT Russia is an enemy country and anything that's bad for them is pretty much OK by me. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, but this Ukraine/Russia was has been the best thing for the US in a LONG time.

Putin has been working for years to make Russia seem like a world power. But the fact that Russia can't finish off a country with a relatively small armed force right on their border has shown they are a paper tiger at best. I get that NATO has been arming Ukraine for the entire war, but no troops have been sent. This is a humiliating war for Russia on so many levels, not just material/men lost.

Any YES, we had quite a few on this board that have been rooting hard for Russia... Comrade Growlz in particular.

My thoughts are that Ukraine is made up of people who embrace the spirit of our founding fathers. They are resourceful, ingenious, and brave. Their advancement in the offensive and defensive use of drones, along with tactics, is astonishing. The crucible of war is a mighty forge. They have essentially ensured that Russia will not be invading any part of Europe anytime soon if ever, which is an amazing result. With all of that being said, I understand the country is not perfect, and there have been a lot of allegations of corruption over the years.

Watch the video here. Fascinating but basically Sweden brought in Ukraine drone guys to help mock up warfare against NATO troops and Ukraine absolutely kicked their butts. Going to learn a lot from them. I have a feeling we found this out the hard way in Persian Gulf and have suppressed a lot of the loss. War has PROFOUNDLY changed and we better keep up. Drones change everything and level the playing field. It’s similar to what mobile heavy armor / tanks did in early 1900s and then air power in mid 1900s-it changes warfare tactics immensely.
