What are the best things to do in Iowa

OP's Mom...she keeps half the men warm in January.
Some of the streams never full freeze. I think because of how fast they move and because they are spring fed.
And the other half in February.
You guys should be nice to OP and his mom. He is the only one that has really accepted us in his house.
Itās beautiful here in winter. I have gotten into snowshoeing the past few winters.
And we have a few small but decent ski hills
In the northeast and across border in Wisconsin.
And yes, winter trout fishing is good.
The key to enjoying Midwest winter is to get out in it and be active. If you get the right clothes and gear, itās fantastic - if youāre not a pu$$y about weather.
And yeah, when all else fails, winter boozing!
