How to hasten the end of HORT exile

Just thinking if Lucas and others would just pull up stakes and come here full time, HORT would enter a catatonic state. Which, should be enough for kakert open it up again, once he sees there is no appreciable foot traffic. So for you guys posting in both places, please urge others to abandon ship temporarily.

Just took a peek at the traffic. Half the threads on the first page last had postings yesterday. That place is dying.
Thats dramatic. Its basically back to where it was pre Rivals takeover, but with more users than before. Sure it has less foot traffic in the OT board, but Tom isnt laid more to babysit children bickering back and fourth.

He makes a valid point. People just will not stop engaging for whatever reason. I don't get it, put the derps on ignore.

I don't understand it. Trolls feed on attention. People will say it's some kind of ***** out to use ignore, but when it's clearly just a troll or a crazy person, ignoring them is the worst thing you can do to them.

They crave and need attention, not getting it is what drives them nuts.

And I'm not talking about putting people on ignore that you don't agree with. It's the asshats that clearly are just out to antagonize people or are just flat out hateful folks.

If someone can just take away McJizzlet's internet for a week maybe he will find a new hobby and we can all be deported back to HROT

Couldn't have said it better. Exactly, it's not ignoring someone you just simply disagree with; it's a troll who doesn't want to actually have a convo. I enjoyed the board a lot more once I got rid of the trolls and clutter.

Have you ever noticed that it's almost always the trolls themselves, or the slightly less trolling posters that sympathize with the message, that take this position?

To me it's the same garbage cancel culture crying that maga supporters made part of their personality in the lead up to Trump time.

Yeah it's like... I kind of treat it how I treat things IRL. If I run into someone who is a complete *******, it's not on me to try and convince them to not be an *******. I've tried it, it doesn't work. I'll be polite if I have to be around someone like that, but I'm not going out of my way to engage with them. I just can't surround myself with dramatic/angry people anymore, it's not worth the stress and headache.

Imagine being such a POS in life that they locked down an entire board just to keep you out. That's like having to hire a bouncer at a Taco Bell because one guy keeps hitting on all the high schoolers working there.

He gives off serious Reddit Mod energy.

Hey guys, sure mcgibbs may have been the straw that broke the camels back but you seem to be glazing over a substantial amount of information Tom provided. That place was a cesspool that had been circling the drain for months. Anybody remember the guy telling people he was going to meet people's wives on Facebook so he could rape them?....not mcgibbs. Anyone remember the dude telling people he hoped their children got raped? Not mcgibbs... Every single person being referred to as a species known for being repulsive and associated with decay? (Magat) Not mcgibbs. That place, like Hort before it, was a cesspool and everyone had some responsibility in that. If Hbot provided anything in its existence it was reinforcing misery loves company. The same 15 people that met every day to bitxh about the same **** will now do so here and Tom wont be out a thing.

Lol at the broke *** adults who spent their entire day bitxhing about how hard life is not having 10 bucks a month to be able to afford a place to do it.

  • Straw that broke the camel’s back? Try a felled tree.
  • I don’t remember any of rape talk but I guess I don’t engage in those types of threads or I have those kinds of people blocked. You know, the type that uses N bombs.
  • With your magat reference you left out reference to “Libtard”. And frankly, the frequent use of “retard” which is disappointingly frequent here.
  • In terms of money, I find it hilarious that your conclusion is that I don’t have $10 a month to spare. I choose to be with more people not less. It has nothing to do with money, which I certainly have more of than you.
  • Thanks for sharing.

Guessing whiskey is feeling a small shred of responsibility for the shut down and this is his attempt at deflection.
