Pope has had a history with players that have dealt with injuries in the past. I think I would pass on this guy.

I am not greedy or particular about this piece of the puzzle.

Just find a guy with some meat on his bones that can run the floor. A little scoring on the block would be fantastic and even more skill is mo betta but we can live with big, can run the floor, can catch lobs, and tall in a pinch.

Pope went to Washington and now he's enamored with their players. Not sure it's a good idea going after guys that were on team that finished 16-17 last season.

He’s not coming here, Dylan has been rehashing old news and speculation for clicks and eyeballs because there isn’t a ton to report on right now.

You're a freaking joke dude lol. Wrong again

Same reaction I had. Was told he was only an option if staff thought Moreno was gone and we needed to land 2 Centers, so now I’m afraid to speculate. Good news is he didn’t cost us much, so the optimist in me says maybe we pulled the trigger on him so we have the cash needed for a needle mover. One can hope but I’m less than excited to hear this news. He can be serviceable for 15 minutes a game but I truly hope it doesn’t mean Moreno is staying in.

People can clown or say what they want, doesn’t bother me. I’m not on here to make friends but to discus Kentucky hoops. Pope needs to land Milan, make or break for him at this point.

Who would even be a viable starter at the 5 rn if Moreno stays?

You mean stays in the draft? It’s be a Euro big and Kepnang the backup. I was told Kepnang was only in play if Moreno left because then we’d need 2, and he wasn’t a primary target. It’s the same info JP had when he reported the same. So to me it’s bad news incoming for Moreno but time will tell. We just need to fill that 3 a lot with a scorer and I’ll feel much better about the lineup. I’m not so sure the staff isn’t purposely giving out bad info.

Not what I was told ,he is a back up option,The Staff thinks Moreno will come back, because with the rookie salary cap,The Cats can offer him more ,hope there right

Same feelings I have. He pairs well with Moreno. That’s a good combo but you have to retain Moreno and I was told yesterday Kepnang was not an option if Moreno stayed at Kentucky. I’ll gladly be wrong if it means we get to keep Moreno!

Did you hear about the large boosters being hit up to raise more funds yesterday? Time for Pope to land a big fish for once. I’ll believe it when I see it but the funds are there if he can close one.

I’m already not excited about next year but if Moreno goes pro we are in huge trouble.

I believe he has been in the NCAA long enough to accrue all potential retirement benefits, retiree medical plan, fully vested in the 401K plan as well as a gold watch once he eventually retires.
