Nor did ANY of them Man or Woman score just short of FOUR thousand points, lead the nation in scoring three years, and was second the only other year. OH, and she led the nation three of four years in assists and was second the other year. The ONLY woman to lead the nation in points and assists in the same season, (and she did it three times). ONE male did that ONCE. ONLY player to score over 3000 points and have over 1000 assists. Holds SIXTY FOUR NCAA or B1G conference records. SIXTY FOUR. OH, and she sold out every areana Iowa played in home or away, and brought MILLIONS of $$ to the University, Iowa City, and Iowa as well as many other the opponenets schools as a whole. THATS why she was (and is) on TV all the time. Your saying that Fudd deserves to make more or the same as Clark? That's insane....
It's C.C. she's the ONLY reason that the WNBA has this sudden relevancy. It had ZERO before her. You are correct!

I don't as long as the games are called consistently going forward. The players will simply have to adjust to the way the game is being called. In the long run it's the only way to improve the game and the fouls will come down over time.
How are they going to adjust when they don’t have the athleticism to do so? The “physicality” of the league is not because they want to play physical, it’s because they have to.

Nobody is rebelling...it would have been damn near impossible for her popularity to maintain the fever pitch levels it was her first season.

Her first season was a perfect storm...a few weeks after the F4 she is the #1 pick and then a short time later began one of the best rookie seasons in WNBA history. But then an entire season of NCAA women's hoops happened....new stars emerged...so even last year there was a slight decline in ticket demand and prices...and then injuries and missed games piled up and now a lot of those people that were dialed in to her every game or practice tidbit have lost some of that fire for her content. It is in no way a knock against her, it's just human nature and people have such short attention spans that they move on at the first sign of inactivity.
So much wrong with this. Yes, they are rebelling and her popularity hasn’t gone anywhere, but keep hoping.

Not CC or the Fever, but Kate Martin was cut from the Golden State team today. We'll have to wait and see if any team wants to pick her up. Considering the depth in the league at her position I think her career may be over though. Two seasons more than most of us thought she was going to have.

She suffered a Grade 2 quad strain in her right leg during training camp. The recovery time for that injury is about 6 weeks, so that probably factored into the team’s decision.

I’m certainly not an expert on the new CBA, but I think players have to clear waivers before they can be placed on one of the two developmental spots. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up getting one of those spots once she heals up.

Teams will incur injuries as the season progresses and she’ll get opportunities to fill in as needed.

I’m rebelling due to the attitude of way too many of the players and the style of play they have allowed for the last two years and when Caitlin sat out most of last season I could only stand to watch a couple of games afterwards so I moved on. I guess you could say I kind of have CC fatigue after all of that.

It’s finally game day! My prediction is that Caitlin is an apex predator and wants to show out today at home against Paige: fever 93 wings 84, Caitlin with 27/13/7
Depends on how much SW plays her off the ball….I think her big number games may be very limited this year.

The Wings are really trying to swipe the ball from CC on the dribble. She has lost a couple.

Fever have worst starting guard D in the league. Was like that with KM and CC 2 years ago. They had to outscore people. Same thing this year.

Bueckers is darn good.

CC has gotten to the basket for some layups and FTs, but her distance shot is off.

Why are they interviewing players as the game is in action?
Better than interviewing coaches during the game…players on the bench don’t have as much to do as the coach.

She is responsible for the unsold fever tickets?
Fever front office is. They lied to fans for months say CC was day to day for 2 months until the 2nd injury was released and then she's out for the year. Sold all those tickets on lies.

IndyStar is full of comments from fans that bought tickets twice on vacations and she was out.

The Fever are supposed to be the high-pace, transition team, but the Wings have a 14-4 edge in fast break points.

This is embarrassing.
Bad defensive team, still won’t bring in a big besides Boston who can finish underneath, and they’re a terrible rebounding team- what did you expect?
